Surprisingly, I'm not getting any real heat for my less than stellar comments regarding CP. Maybe I'm just not blunt enough, or established enough in the fandom 😶

The MDL star rating system is useless as a metric of quality in my opinion. We don't know how the rating is calculated and it's easy to just bomb it with great/miserable votes for petty reasons. So when picking the drama, I mostly just look on images and non-spoilery reviews before giving it a chance.

I'm using the star ratings I give shows just as my personal indicators (what to rewatch, what to avoid). Even though it's just a single vote, I don't want to bring the score down for dramas with low vote counts, so I'm working on scale from 5 to 9.5, with 5 being trash I won't ever touch again (read LBC 2) and 9.5 being the most enjoyable emotional rides I've ever had (2moons being one of them, even if it's by no objective measure a 9.5 drama). 10 represents perfect, and I doubt there ever will be a perfect show. 8+ score means worthy of rewatch with priority levels. 7.5 means good, but nothing in it worth rewatching for me. 7 means inoffensive, but didn't enjoy it that much. Less than 7 are varying degrees of 'bad'.

Cutie Pie is (so far) the sole exception for this rule, because I'm petty and it's CP.
