Overall, this was a fairly good show. It's funny once you get used to the second-hand embarrassment. It gets surprisingly heartwarming, especially later on. It's brave enough to go and tackle some complex issues, with varying degrees of success (most BL dramas avoid those completely or mishandle them way worse, so it's still a plus for me). It looks good and it's free. The subtitles are on a whole another level quality-wise compared to other BL shows. The music it uses is actually pretty good.
Now to the negatives - it has very little plot and is repetitive (if you're looking for a plot-heavy drama, this ain't it. But it's great for comedy and characters.). It trivializes some more complex stuff, probably because of time constraints (one exact problem of the main lead was handled very badly in the end imo). It uses ~3 songs repeatedly during the whole show (I only noticed the third song in final episode, to boot). It makes a big deal out of public declarations, to the point it felt uncomfortable to me.
I could imagine myself rewatching this when I'm in need of a light, silly entertainment.
To everyone who is still wondering why they havenβt DROPPED this series is because yβall are not BINGE watching…
True. Some shows are better to binge (especially K-BLs), but some would be too much to get through all at once. I still think this is a good show, but the last episode dropped the ball majorly.
In need of another laugh out loud romcom while I'm waiting for new episodes. Can someone offer me some recommendations…
I second Mr. Unlucky!!
Aside from that, Rak Diao (One love) is pretty funny. Though the romance is a bit on slower part for me so far (5 episodes in). It's on "one31" youtube channel.
And if you haven't watched it yet, Secret Crush On You just ended ("IDOLFACTORY OFFICIAL" youtube channel). This one is a bit of an acquired taste, but very good imo.
I feel deceived by the thumbnails. Truly hope this series isn't just baiting me.
The plot is pretty interesting, but also too complicated for 2-hour korean drama. We are halfway done and nothing is even remotely on its way to being resolved. So it's either gonna be rushed, or abandoned.
Another episode that was pretty light on story progression. This would have been nice, if the drama was purely a character-driven romance. But to be honest, I expected more.
That said, it looks like episode 7 will move the plot forward again π€
I was like :"Aaaw, they're holding hands the whole time, even when fighting! π₯°" Then I noticed the handcuffs π
A CONDOM!! XD
No the Khun blame from Kinn π¨
But it's kinda weird how Kinn didn't mention Wik at all..
That was an underwhelming "apology/forgiveness", to say the least.
So stupid. First, you don't just shout back when someone's looking for you after you escaped kidnappers. Second, why did they try to jump? Were they even sure the voice is coming from that direction? Even if so, they could have just waited or try to find another way.
That's a bit better apology. But only marginally.
The fuck?! Just wait for rescue! Or try again tomorrow! No need for this. How would you even manage the bleeding?
That was also stupid. But I expected something similar.
You're making me cry, Kinn πππ
I don't know how to feel about the ending. On one hand, I think it was too much. Too rushed. I would have prefered if it ended with Porsche leaving. On the other hand, it's still pretty emotional ending. Even if predictable and safe.
the ending with the whole marriage equality message has successfully tricked me into thinking I enjoyed this series,…
Thankfully, each time they tried to play on my heartstrings, I was taken aback by recollections of what lead us there. And they didn't take too long to mess up again, so... I'm just bitter.
Fan service all the way up until the finale credits. Wow!!
I did not watch the BTS at the end. I just couldn't after the final message. Looks like it was a similar banger as the post-credit scene in episode 11. Glad I missed it.
Mike! I owe you. It was Kuea. Though it was always going to be Kuea. In other news, this sucked. It was stupid.…
Yeah, it was always going to be Kuea. As sad as that is.
It took me until 2 a.m. to finish the finale. That last part, I was basically watching in 30 second intervals. I don't feel free yet, but I feel empty. So good job for that, CP. I'm also not touching anything Mandee makes ever again. I've had more than enough.
Screw Tol! I'm team Rit from now on.
"Girlfriend?" - Almost π
Kyaaa! Such a cute date.
"I just wanted to be with you longer."
"I won't let you die."
"Stay with me longer. Just a bit longer."
AAAAAH!!!
Whoever came up with this premise, you're an evil genius! π

Next episode, I want a kiss.

[Also, no Kim. I'm offended.]

(I would have googled that Ducati bike, though)
