Now I feel like we're missing a context. As far as I know, Daonuea left for germany soon after confessing to Khluen. So why is he acting like Khluen's been intentionally twisting the knife? Or does he mean after he came back? In that case, I don't feel like Khluen's been leading Dao on for so long. Maybe there were some time skips I missed. But I feel like Daonuea is kinda unfair right now blaming it all on Khluen.
Okay. I guess that makes sense, a bit. Still, it's weird how out of the two of them, I understand Khluen more than Daonuea. I guess he just felt so strongly it all rushed out at once and overwhelmed him.
"I got a little payback." - Oh, no. I don't know whether I love you or utterly despise you right now, Daonuea. You're lashing out.
That's kinda meaningless as a payback imo. But if it works for Dao...
Poor Khluen π
I forgot they were both drunk. That explains some edge of it.
Kluen the philosopher contemplating life on balcony π
I mean, you told him you need time yesterday. And now you just walked in into his house. I would feel like a burden, too.
He's so cute!
He's also dumb, apparently π₯°
"Can I call Noel first?" LMAO this dumb?! XD
So he can talk! Weird. I expected less coherent confession.
I don't get them anymore.
Also, we slipped back to the cryptic Khluen with the plant scene.
We don't need this drama right now, Gia.
You are irrational, Dao. Pump the brakes a bit.
If that's a Phoon calling, I'm taking a break from this episode. Too much.
Yeah... See you later, guys. Imma calm down first.
I'm back, ma pals! Not that you would have noticed. I'm way less sober, more forgiving, and prepared to end this π€
How is Phoon the most sane person in this episode?! Are we just putting all characterization into trash now?
Ok, I was lying. I'm not drunk enough for this. But let's continue π
Not loving the skip from part 3 to 4. Nor the development. Can't believe I'm saying this, but poor Phoon. That's gonna hurt like hell.
Aha, I misunderstood. But Dao probably did, too.
Exactly, Fah! "Please, think it through when you do something."
Don't promise what you can't fulfill, Khluen.
And my sympathy for Phoon died.
Poor Khluen, again.
Why did he take him out to meet everyone else? What's the point of this?
[Seems like I lied about being more forgiving, too. Sorry π°]
Phoon be playing games, I guess.
That's so sad, Alexa. Play 'Wicked Game', right after 'Toxic' ends.
Shouldn't you rather talk to Daonuea? Just saying.
Yeah, of course he does. It's not nice messing with someone's feelings, Phoon. No matter your intentions.
One big F U, Phoon. That's not how we do things in adultland.
Let's end the series here. This was like penultimate episode drama, x2. I'm done.
It's pretty standard BL, very similar to the likes of 2moons (some people say it reminds them of 2gether). There…
It's very plot-heavy, so the romance is sidelined for now (episode 4). But it makes sense and the story is pretty interesting imo. Certainly worth giving it a try!! (Also, Tee is gorgeous in it π)
Why cant i find episode 13 with english subs? I usually watch on myasiantv but it only has to episode 12.
Episode 13 has some mature content, so it can be age restricted. I recommend logging into a youtube account and watching it directly through the show's "IDOLFACTORY OFFICIAL" youtube channel.
It's pretty standard BL, very similar to the likes of 2moons (some people say it reminds them of 2gether). There is some angst, but overall it's a light show with simple plot and nice visuals.
If you're just looking for something cute to sit back and enjoy, I recommend it. If you're looking for something with deep plot and more serious tone, I would have saved this one for later (you might give Triage a try instead, if you haven't already π)
I like the characters and the music. The ambience is nice, too. Acting is manageable. But why such a weird storyline? It doesn't exactly have plot holes that jump out at me, but it just feels so unbelievable. Same with the relationship progress. Sometimes, less is more. Especially if you only have 2 hours to say it all.
Also, the kiss from episode 5 was the weirdest thing ever. When did they get so close? And the 'cold' comment out of blue? Just... weird. Even if there were multiple time-skips that would support the idea of them being close, they should have shown us more before imo. Honestly, this is the kind of drama that could have ended with a kiss.
The song is nice, though π
They're cute together π₯°
"He should just marry udon" XD
Why the band?
Uff. The emotions. So now it's time for Tommy to break down π
Episode 6 was mostly fluff. But I ain't complaining 'bout that.
EDIT: I forgot to add. The most unrealistic thing about the whole show is that their restaurant is so popular. They open at 11 am. Close whenever they run out of food. The service takes too long and they aren't clearing tables fast enough. The owner just decides to close it whenever they want to, but there are still people waiting in line each morning/midday. In cold. Just to be turned on their heels. The udon could taste like ambrosia and I still wouldn't come back.
Reading the comments I have had other doubts about the script; 1) How is it that Kuea is in a college career and…
1.) As for the house, Kuea's grandpa left it for him before he died (I heard from someone who read the novel. Might not be true, but it sounds believable enough for me.) The college, I have no idea. Maybe Kuea was old enough to handle the paperwork himself when he signed up (though he just reached maturity iirc)? The whole situation is weird imo, since we see Kuea arriving from London to study in Thailand right at the start. But he already knows his classmates and acts like best friend with them, so... the timing is iffy.
2.) and 4.) are common tropes in Y materials (manga/anime/novels), especially the older ones. I believe those are present in novel, too
3.) Jay is just using Kuea for money. Also, Lian bought him out as his "bussiness partner", so it's in Jay's best interest to be nice to Lian.
5.) most of that could probably be explained by inconsistent "script", fanservice and yaoi tropes.
As a person who didn't notice the toxicity at first and later was able to look past most of it, I still don't…
For me, it went wrong in each episode, starting from the end of episode 2. First it was toxic (in a bad way). Then boring and toxic. Then boring and toxic with no plot other than fanservice. Now even the fanservice is gone, so it went back to boring and toxic. And forget consistency of any kind, for any period of time.
That's not fair! This show has also been about lying, dogs, avoidance, sex, Kuea's general inadequacy in the eyes…
Iirc the 'big mistake' in their design was one component of the car not being strong enough to carry the weight. Which he could have figured out by running simulation or testing for the parts' compatibility, but it should also be pretty noticable when picking the parts / simply looking at it after all parts are picked. So a very obvious problem in my opinion, from both sides.
Is liking automative engineering, music, sports cars, bikes, making music a bad thing??kuea has these hobbies Which…
They are already calling him 'naughty' and stopping him from engaging in his hobbies. I wouldn't put all the blame on Kuea, since they made it pretty clear what kind of "young master" they want him to be.

And I got some of that, but also mixed with angst and "lmao". My heart can't handle so much emotions π
Why are they going to bed fully clothed?
I hope my ceiling breaks too, girl π
AAAAAH indeed, Fukuhara! This episode is such a wild ride!
