Ok so this one is quirky, but more so in the cute silly way than a headachey one!
It's not logical. Refuses to be consistent. Adds comedy noises and inner voices. Fateful connection? Check. Jealous rival? Check check. Female "antagonist" I guess? Ridiculous rules, very vague take on ML's sexuality (for now), no clear aim... It's better to let your brain rest with this one π
Despite all that, I kinda enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of Rak Diao, but with *a plot*. Not something that you'll rush to watch with tension, but enough for a lazy evening. Let's see where it goes π
One hell of an odd angle to choose for romantic scene. Almost as if you didn't want audience to get emotionally invested in the couple π€ Very sus. But I appreciate you for giving me a false hope either way π€‘
π¬π¬π¬π¬ That's rough. Let's keep the booze away from Nueng from now on π
And what a dramatic ending! It went down so fast, not even Unforgotten Night would be able to keep up!
On one hand, I understand how Nueng must feel. But on the other side, what about Ben? π₯Ί He needs to be more gentle for there to be any chance of our polyamorous quad blossoming π
I felt like this episode was slightly better than previous ones. There's still quite a few weird moments and the scenes aren't well put together in my opinion, but at least we moved somewhere and it looked semi-convincing.
The ending is probably one of the lamest cliffhangers to ever hang, though. Or I'm gravely underestimating them and they actually have the guts to do it! If that's so, second part of this show will be very different from what I'd expected π
Episode 5 was so confusing!!! Were it not for the recap, I would have thought I skipped an episode or two π
The next one was fortunately much better. I'm still lost in their relationship and the speedy progress, Denis's role in the "love triangle" and supernatural stuff that was taking a back seat this time, but it was more easy to follow and there's even some natural(ish) development.
This is most likely a show I will have to binge rewatch to understand better, though. Especially after we get a bigger picture of their past.
Each week, I feel like nothing really happens in this drama. Just random interactions, often recycled.
What's the point of this? What direction it has? Is there a conflict to clear up? What about progress?
I feel like in half of the series' runtime, we haven't moved anywhere. Didn't change anything. The characters have shown zero growth and their dynamic is a moody mess.
I'll probably put this on hold and come back to it when there's more progress. As a mindless slice-of-life bits it's decent, but there's nothing to it that makes me want to continue watching.
The best part of episode 12 - the couple around minute 9. I'd almost like more of their story.
The best part of season 3 - the OST. If nothing else, at least the music was catchy.
And of course, Danny the dutch boy was a bright star of this production π
Let's hope this is a goodbye to Moon Courting Moon adaptations, at least from Motive Village. I wouldn't mind someone fixing it, though. Hell, if WRU and Cherry Magic can get remakes, what prevents us from getting korean 2Moons? πππ
I feel like other comments echoed my grievances with this movie well enough, so I'll keep it on shorter side.
1. The first half was very draggy and unnecessary imo. Not only it was yet another stupid communication issue, it was badly built up and with not enough payoff.
2. Second half felt better. The ending parts were very rushed and the family subplots too carefully constructed (read "plastic", though I understand why π₯), but I liked the very end. I think it would have been better if they left the second-to-last plotline for another movie / special episode (or ommited the first half and dwelled on this more instead).
3. The lack of intimacy was very apparent at places. What I expected would be a major climax of the story was done so plainly I almost missed it. Again, the build-up and pay-off were underwhelming.
4. I'm not a fan of the secondary couple. They didn't bring anything unique to the series in my opinion, and even less to the movie. Granted, they were only present in few scenes. But their parts could have been safely skipped and nothing would change.
5. There were few scenes that I really liked, though! Especially the breakfast one and unpacking one were cute π
Overall, it's a watchable movie. Second part could even be called "nice". It's worth watching for someone who was (just) fond of the series. Hardcore fans are likely to be a bit disappointed though, and casual viewers won't be impressed by it either. Since it's holidays, I'll give it a nice 7.5 π

That said, this is cute. Kaburagi is hot and it's short. 8/10 for now.

I can't even blame her at this point π
"Polyamorous quad it is π€‘"
"Is it too late to switch the couples? π"
"...I ship it. God help me, I ship it harder than anything I ever did before. Am I doomed to failure? π’"

Nicely at first, then confused, and ultimately scared MV might be planning a spin-off with them as leads.they are cute together, but not that cuteπ
And apparently Noey started manhandling Thiwa instead of silently forcing him to get on/off the bike π

Games-Vee are cute and all, but not present enough to be worth the sacrifice π

Me: "You will eat the cake AND YOU WILL LL BE HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!"
LMAO I just wrote the exact same thing π€£π€£π€£
In the end, even the subpar BLs are actually useful for enjoyment if you couple them with something superior π
