I don't think so. Apparently, I'm the only person in existence that didn't like the first season, I only watched it so I could watch the second two, and realized I could have saved myself a lot of time.

This is why I'm glad people post spoilers here. I'll admit, I'm usually all about the romance, so if the leads don't end up together, I feel that diminishes their "love" and I feel like I've wasted my time watching. I loved the ML in 25 21, but just couldn't watch it for that very reason.

Every time I watch a Chinese show specifically, I'm surprised at how much filler there is. All the office stuff can get old, if there are too many characters that they are trying to bring into the story, etc. When I watched You Are My Glory, I LOVED it, but boy did I have to fast forward through a lot! Between the gaming and the engineering, that drama could have probably been cut by half.

How long is the ex-girlfriend in the picture ? It’s my lleast favorite drama trope that shows up in almost every drama. I haven’t gotten to her story yet, but when she showed up at his door, you can tell she wants him back. And they always seem to be filled with entitlement- “I may have trampled all over his heart in the past, but I want him back and nothing is going to stand in my way!”

Really good review, though I loved this show. I am in the minority, but I didn't like Something in the Rain at all. But Crash Landing on You? I can't even COUNT the number of times I've rewatched it!

I've not seen this drama yet, so I can't speak to it specifically, but I agree with your problem with rating something down because they don't like the actor. However, since a review is subjective, if someone doesn't like the drama as a whole, they are within their rights to give it a lower rating.

Rain or Shine (Just Between Lovers) is one I re-watch periodically. He is magnetic.
