My current "goal" on MDL is to get at least all the Metro Manila and maybe 1-2 other festivals submissions and…
I'm very glad ^^ I hope this introduces many more people to filo cinema and encourages people to learn more about the country and culture <3

This was nice article, however, I had some problems with a couples of things. (1) It is way too long. (2) It wasn't…
But then wouldn't spacing it and adding more images make it even longer?

Wow. Thanks for writing this! I've been thinking about writing an article forever now, but never had the confidence.…
Give it a go! It's really so much fun just writing about things you enjoy and from my experience most of the authors on the site are all happy to help if you need it!

Lovely article! ^_^I am curious based on what u picked these writers tho, since there are many writers. Was it…
Some of it were some of these are my friends and I pitched the idea to them and they loved it and wanted to help with it and then I went through articles for the rest and asks authors who had a large variety of "genres" of articles they do. Since this was partly to try and inspire people to try article writing I tried to get a few people who do currently watching and such and then others like ebisuno who did the North Korean drama article just to show some more variety and then I also asked on feeds and a few authors jumped in from there ^^

Surgery for fractures it's pretty common! It's just so they can realign it if it needs realigning and sometimes…
Hshs it does depend on your fracture"! if it's a very minor split and the bone is barely split from each other than you can jsut need some rest and such but if its more serious like th bone is seriousy sllit from the main you can need some surgey (alsodepending on the time of it happening, the 90s, etc, no offence to you meant!) then it depends on aspects like that as well ^^
alsodependent on country!
(sorry for spelling ive had a lot of whisky)

It's not as good as I thought it would be. You can make a tipical storyline that make deeper and make them compelling.…
If you're talking on social issues such as Hyori and Toni, well, as a white person I can't speak for Toni and his rep, but for Hyori she's the absolute perfect deep story line for trans people.

Another great article!Honestly speaking I'm not a huge horror fan. However, after all the articles you've continued…
Thank you!
Ah this makes me so happy, honestly ><
Horror can be such a good genre once you find a nice little niche of what you enjoy; I like to make my way through one directors work and then branch out from there and it makes the horror experience so much more enjoyable because you're not consuming 12 different retellings of what horror should be, more, staying with one way of creating horror - you get to really enjoy those films, and then when you move on to the next, the new direction is something to enjoy and then restart the whole journey ^^

It's just a perfect all round horror-comedy. I love how the tension really builds up and then at the reveal it…

Ahhh thank you! (March has already started being planned, don't worry!)

Devil was amazing, I still think of that film quite often. I need to rewatch it, it haunts me (pun intended :P).
I need to update the links in the short film one but all are available on YouTube! So if no links you can just youtube the name and all
Exte is ridiculous but in a totally good way :P
Phobia 2 really stunned me and I loved it.

I recommend all of Junji Itou's works! He'll be popping up quite a lot in the future of these articles, his works are brilliant!

I'm looking forward to those two as well! (Closet sold 1m in 11 days!)

Have a wonderful day and thank you!!!! Gonna have my work spread out for me trying to find lesser known ones ><

May the Devil Take You (2018) is great horror film, 9/10, not scary but crazy and creepy. Elfen Lied (2004) was…
MtDTY has it qualms for sure but the atmosphere and just. God I was panting as some points where it just goes Wild and it was so good. Probably one of the best Asian horrors all round I've seen. Brilliant film. Need more like that!!!

I just finished watching "Secrets in the Hot Spring," & it was just what I needed! Highly recommend!
It's just a perfect all round horror-comedy. I love how the tension really builds up and then at the reveal it all slowly simmers down, it doesn't go all at once, so it lets you slowly go back to a nice calm, "ahh they did it!!!" mood rather than just "where did the atmosphere go???" brilliant, BRILLIANT directing.

i didn't know and never notice that there's a time in august that they only show Philippine movies. i thought…
I think it's the same that IMAX and 3D possibly don't only show the submissions but I'll check that! Might have been an outdated source and I missed it ><
