I cannot stand animal testing. There are so many tests that have proven that we can't use animal DNA as a comparison for our own (the numerous tests where the rats/etc have been completely fine and then humans have been given the drug and died in testing eye roll). There's no point to it if we can't actually use it accurately for before human tests. We won't know until we try them on humans, I don't get why this is even still a thing

Surgery for fractures it's pretty common! It's just so they can realign it if it needs realigning and sometimes they'll put in a metal bar so the bone can reattach and heal quicker ^^ With fractures sometimes the bone will move out of place one or two inches and sits like / rather than a | so they just correct that or the fracture can heal wrong which makes it more painful in the long run ^^
