Thank you for your article, I am glad someone finally tackled this topic.Just one comment from me as a first aid…
I did mean, watch in leisure time BEFORE it's needed, I didn't catch that line could have dual meaning, I'll get the editor to change it!

We're afraid of suing here as well ><

But the reason I state to be careful and not to do CPR on babies and infants is that, if you do it wrong, you can actually pop the baby's heart and kill them that way. If you don't know what you're doing, then from my experience (and some very bad calls, this has happened to me alone 5 times) it can be lethal if you don't know what you're doing (especially as some shows show CPR on babies as the same as with adults). It's extremely traumatic to realise that you killed the child you were trying to save just because you weren't sure what you're doing.

While he obviously did wrong, I think it's easy for us to judge, because we are not in his shoes.
A lot of people have been in similar situations and have not gone on to fraud, and such, there are numerous idols who have had similar situations, etc and not gone on to fraud and other illegal activities. Other trainees have had very similar situations in which they sold off their clothing from shows they didn't need to fans for financing (which after solid research I can say I have not seen a single thing of him doing anything of the like), etc. There are options, other trainees in tighter positions have proven that.

Such an important and well-written article, just like every article of yours! I hadn't noticed this detail in…
Ahh thank you ><
I noticed it the first time I watched it and lost it for like 10 minutes xD I messaged my sister like "LOOK HE'S SCRUBBING PROPERLY" and we had a good moment about it xD

Another thing that's done A LOT in dramas/movies and would harm us in real life; cleaning open wounds with alcohol.…
This one annoys the hell out of me tbh but when they're in a serious pinch and can't get to a hospital etc, I overlook that one bc that is out of necessity to at least have something but when it's in situations where they could just get a saline wipe or something it's the most annoying ><

Wow. How sad for everyone involved. Sad for the people he took advantage of who were just trying to keep themselves…
While I somewhat agree, I wouldn't say the companies have that much blame. There are countless trainees and idols and it's pretty uncommon for stories like this to happen, idols and trainees get by 90% of the time without committing fraud and other illegal acts of the kind.

He should have to do paid probabtion work or something and then do his jail time to pay back the victims, if he's charged

100% agree, this one is still making my blood boil thinking about it. I'll be surprised if he gets a light sentence

I agree with that but also don't ngl. Since this did go to his fathers medical treatment it's going to be hard to pay it back and could seriously worsen the family's situation which could lead to his other family going to illegal acts as well. The victims deserve their money back 100% but its a tricky situation

maybe I didn't read it right but what do mean by : "Only do CPR if you are one hundred percent sure that the person’s…
Also, to add on to my previous comment: this is why it's said to call 911/112/etc. If you're unsure, tell them. "They are unconscious, not responding and their breathing is very shallow". The operators are trained in these situations. They'll advise you the best thing to do, to start CPR if it needs doing, etc, etc. Call your local emergency line no matter what.

It depends on the situation, some places say "better safe than sorry" as usually CPR doesn't harm a beating heart, but many people I work with including the people who DO CPR in the emergency room and such say feel for a pulse and if you can't feel a pulse then do CPR, but only if you can't. If you perform CPR when it's not necessary and injure the patient (broken ribs etc) then they have every right to sue you (which is a big fear now even for doctors doing life saving CPR) and you will not be protected by law as CPR wasn't necessary. When it's necessary, it can protect you.
It's also possible that you can damage vulnerable patients doing unnecessary CPR

Thanks God, someone write a long article about this ridiculous Medical drama. I am a Registered Nurse work in…
Mm I'm the same, it's either a good laugh or a pleasant surprise bc it's done super well. Unfortunately, I've heard of too many people that panicked and thought of movie content >< I swear the media should be sued for the false truths they've pushed for the sake of a few minutes of drama, it's absolutely terrible. Most people know not to do this stuff but once you panic, your mind just latches onto whatever, and sometimes, that's the bad medical drama you watched a few years ago, sighs
