Alot of the fandom thinks its gross to have sex, let alone make a baby when there is 2 souls inside the body, fans would enjoy the scene if it was truly a moment with just the two of them and no impending doom and gloom.
I really do not understand writers/directors foreshadowing "deaths" in ep 9 - it is completely 180 degrees different…
I also agree to some extent, but I think it's wishful thinking. But its something at the back of my mind, perhaps its a ruse or a decoy. Park Jin kept talking about the pressures and overwhelming sense of responsibility Ukie has. And he knows he and his fiance will be hurt for the actions/choices he makes. So perhaps hiding for the time being, allows Ukie to make a choice when there are no loved ones left in the world to consider (because by then Yeong might have lost her soul too - for a short while perhaps).
Personally don't think my rating for this will change at all even with a sad ending but iam sensing a rating drop…
Its a shame really that a show was 10 the entire time for someone and drops so low because ML/FL didn't end up together. Like they could die together if it fits the story but it wouldn't be good enough for most fans. Its about to drop. 😭

Yeong fainting leads them to the hut. Which leads to a discussion about using their time wisely. Therefore quick wedding in the forest with Lee as officiant and blissful time will happen first. Then meanwhile cut to the lead up to all 3 of those deaths. 3rd death being Mama Jin and forcing the door open. She won't know Uncle Seo is bad, so he'll manipulate her and the bird will be released. Then Jang Uk comes home to a disaster. And JBY probably goes in hiding or something with the blindfold on. Some fighting happens. The rest I got no idea, not feeling optimistic. I think they will save the world but all the overuse of energies will mean both UkYeong will die together and live on as energies or in afterlife.
