i guess they added the ml politics plot to lengthen the episodes... haha ahhh i see they are like childhood friends in the novel who kinda grew up tgt whereas in the drama the ml only met the fl when she was young once at the paintings altar room then the next time they meet is when fl goes around as BFX.
ML brothers don't exist in the novel... wow i see...
the six states ruled by 1 empire really reminded me of Legend of fu yao, and fl and ml were the respective heirs to their states and they both have powerful wuxia powers and are fighting against an evil force (soul taker sect in this case) trying to take over the empire . The ml and fl in both dramas whether is it intentionally or unintentionally concealed their identity when they first meet and in the earlier part of the drama. I guess that's why i also like this drama's plot :D
i have a couple of questions if any kind soul can help... :)

4) Is BFX the only child or eldest child? Are there no sons? Why will she become queen? Why does she have so much free time roaming about and not be at home involved in her own state politics? (assuming she's about to inherit the queen position?)

thank u sm! that's so sad but realistic... was it explained why ml hesitated to help the fl? i'm guessing that it's probably because of him taking his state's interests into consideration first and he ultimately decided to put fl first and help her? and i guess she don't trust him enough since she had her extra army as backup...
another question... so ml has control of the army... did he become king of his state then?
Like i said, all is good when she grows up but a full grown man having a romantic interest in a 10 yr old kid? You don't see that as a problem? Lol ok.
I really stan HD, she really knows what she wants and her mind is always clear. She stays true to herself. Even till the end. SHE DESERVES THE WORLD... i'm glad she has a happy family at the end (or inferred to be)

nope... her friends were never mentioned in the present scenes. i want to know too! In fact HD can't even remember the beach trip but after reading her diary she said the beach trip is a treasured memory for her but that is confusing because she didn't even remember it at first?? lol.
ok is anyone else wondering how on earth YJ father reconciled with the family, i guess he is tired from running away from his creditors or YJ managed to pay off his debts i guess?? guess that reporter $$$ must be good huh. prioritising career first... guess he got what he wanted...and recovered from his depression. his dreams came true. i'm happy for YJ and HD.

I want to know if HD still keep in touch with her gang at least? in the future? but MC doesn't know any of them......i guess not. :,(
