I was baffled at Team Groove winning over team Beat! Team Beat's concept, vocals, and overall performance was just SO much better. I was watching Team Groove's performance like "yeah, not going to win for sure", and somehow they end up winning. I think Woong Ki really loved the song (it suited him so well) AND he was probably in as much shock as we were that they didn't win so it caught him off guard. I'm still not over it. I've seen a bunch of competition shows and have seen many unfair wins but this one takes the cake. Almost has me thinking they miscalculated the votes, idk. Sucks cause I love the song but listening to Team Groove's version of it on Spotify isn't doing it for me.

Oh yeah not watching Lost You Forever definitely helped! LOL His character in that one also has feelings for the female lead, who is LIKE his little sister at the beginning (she sees him as an older brother), which makes the resemblance to the character Shen Yuan striking!
This drama was good! As with many dramas, it holds your attention initially but starts feeling like it drags towards the end. Still worth watching though if you like historical cdramas. I have to mention though that I fell in love with Wan Yi in Lost You Forever and his projects after "Are You the One" & this one did not do him justice. His characters were the same throughout all three (personality and styling) and it was hard to dissociate his new roles from Cang Xuan. His facial expressions are always the same making it hard to feel the chemistry between him and the female lead. Don't know if keeping the same styling was the director's choice or his agency's choice but hopefully moving forward, he can adapt to different characters. He's still a great actor, his agency is just probably choosing the wrong roles for him.

I always go through second couple syndrome and it sucks cause I watch shows just WAITING for scenes with the second couple LOL. Most recently this happened with "This love doesn't have long beans." But it's happened way too many times!
2nd couple syndrome. It's crazy how many BL dramas have a 2nd couple with a more interesting story and better chemistry than the main couple. I want more scenes of them😩
