Nah, i'm not ready to accept the 1st paragraph of your reply. I'm crying. But isn't only XL's heart trapped by love bug and not XY's. As even when bug was inside Xuan, it still was working.
To accept that XY loses XL forever, atleast i want her to know what he did for her all the while and be grateful for him. Otherwise, i'm swearing, i'll give this drama less than 5 stars😭

I think people find their "romance" cute as he always agrees to whatever she says and is always on his toes for her. But that is too extreme for me. Like man absolutely has no other reason to be alive!? That's ridiculous. There must be something from both the sides to balance. But here, I could only see how XiaoYao had him dancing on her beats all the time while there was no genuine care visible from her side. Their relationship was purely chosen for 'reason' i guess.
As for her with XL, i felt it, i cried for him, i was happy for him. Isn't that how chemistry between leads should be?

And really XiaoYao is blind in case of XiangLiu. Who the heck invests 37-40 years on you just for a mountain? He could have easily killed CangXuan or held him hostage to ask for his needs from the King of Xiyan. But man just thought of make something out of it if he is letting go of one of his lives and that was his biggest mistake!?

If not XiangLiu, I don't see any other 3 with Xiaoyao.
One of them is legally married, while i think the child was Hou's.
One of them is being completely seen as a brother.
And the last one is a side dish, sorry FengLong, but that is how you look atleast in these 39 eps.

After watching all 39 eps patiently, I can only say...

XiangLiu carried the whole drama on his shoulders, while CangXuan assisted all of this while FengLong was invisible and TushanJing was dragging it down.

If as per the rumours about XiangLiu's death in S2 is true, then this drama will be a joke.

The whole time i cringed very hard while watching Jing and XiaoYao. It was more like a elder sister and obedient younger brother kind of relationship in my view. TushanJing had to only say "yes/alright" entire time. Apart from his "family problems" nothing was visible between him and xiaoyao. Just imagine and switch their gender, a male wanting to wait for a female to finish her all family problems and all in the while male is dilly dallying with others and mainly a female who just agrees to everything the man says. People would go crazy over that. But in case of this drama, people find it cute☠️.

Your comment really reminced all those memories of the darama for me. And that last part about novel and shanggu locking herself up... Somehow gave me some kind of relief or consoled me to some extent. It relieved me from thinking that Shanggu just waited there patiently and could do nothing about the world or had nothing do with the world. Atleast she thought of destroying the world for Bai Jue 😂. TianQi's upbringing indeed was successful(i know tianqi did not raise Shanggu acc to novel, mixing drama and novel for peace of mind ig😅). Hehe

This kind of response is really rare to see haha. But thank you. I won't rewatch as i mostly pay too much of attention even at the first watch of any drama. I really liked the drama till 30 eps. And then it went down for me.

I don't think you are wrong. But ZhyYu and whole Yu clan story sounds dumb to me. It doen't make sense at all even in the drama world. Why would you hurt yourself just to make up for someone else who is totally unrelated to you. And already has been benefiting from you!?

Ending... I have so many questions! I am really disappointed.
Everyone is either dead or doesn't remember anything. Bian Luohuan, Ju Shifang, Yue Jinzhao 1.0, Ying Xuwei, Ge Qingfei, Mr. Gu, whole zhengwu alliance!! Everyone is dead.
And now YJZ returns! With absolutely no memory of the past. And Qi is alive! How!? Didn't she exchange her life for his?

And don't even get me started at their disappointing war/finale. Even LuoMaimimg's fight with ZhuYu and Maiming undoing the bloodbinding of Rehai was beautiful and grand than the finale fight. If ZhuYu is such a poweful and huge mythical beast, how was her death so simple? And she isn't even dead. She is in deep sleep. Qi is also a Kun, why was there no use of their mythical beast powers. Finale fight just felt like simple sword fight between three people where one is a bit powerful than the other two and the other two just keep on attacking without any harm being done to the opposite person as if they are just wanting to suicide. And finally main lead's magical realisations with heavy sounding dialogues for a final blow which miraculously does complete harm to the enemy. Tadaaa!🥳

All the story buildup felt like wasted after watching the last 5-6 eps. I wanna know what special did the Yu clan have for all this to happen. I had this question in the beginning itself but waited patiently for the drama to reveal. I mean, some totally unrelated people are living on the back of yours while you are asleep. And then you wake up and come to know that their lives are in danger due to your awakening. As a rational living being one would definitely try to makeup to them, but i wouldn't say at the cost of own ascension or a whole lot of other unrelated and innocent living beings life. Just to save Yu clan, they sacrificed so many humans, this brings me to my question "who are even Yu clan!?". And I didn't get what Xuwei had to do with saving Yu clan at the cost of whole six realms which ended killing himself, his brother, and qingfei being half-dead. If anybody understood that, please explain to me.

Now, Jinzhao's death. If the whole existence of Jinzhao was to resonate better with Qi, what was going on his mind when Qi was in ZhuYu's awareness. He realised it after taking a huge blow!? Foolishness. Don't tell me he wanted to save Qi at that moment. He was just attacking ZhuYu. If he wanted to save Qi, he should have just used mindlink just like he did in ep 1/2. Wasn't Jinzhao's mission to contain Qi from losing her mind!?. BianLuoHuan's sacrifice seemed to just go down the drain at that moment. If after all that mess for Jinzhao's creation, if Mindlink didn't play a role at last, even Bian could have done what jinzhao did. If Jinzhao had used the mindlink and woken Qi up, then ZhuYu wouldn't have time to fight with JZ and he wouldn't have died. He could have just lived on!
Now nobody remembers Jinzhao, Qi, Bianluohuan, Xuwei. Well done. Not even ML and FL remember each other. I have been watching this drama with great excitement all for this? I am frustrated. Such great cast, such a mysterious story buildup. Ending ruined the whole drama for me 😞.
