Yes, Ossan's Love is more of a comedy drama than a romance drama. And the comedy is very over-the-top.

I actually enjoyed it a lot. The comedy was good and they adapted the story very well so that it included elements from Hong Kong's culture without feeling forced. Also, I liked how they expanded on some of the characters' stories.

Honestly, it's probably that + the fact that some people will make a fuss about one of the ML's love interests having a wife and ""cheating"" on her. Sigh... This is too disappointing 😮‍💨

Extremely promising start! I'm excited to see the rest~

Fr. And the fact that they changed the story so that in this version the boss has a daughter instead of a wife is already bothering me. Those who only watch this version will be missing out on some of the funniest scenes from season 1: The wife using the ML to help her find out who her husband's "mistress" is + the boss telling his wife he likes the ML.

Also, the wife is one of my favorite characters in the entire show and it makes me so sad she doesn't exist in this version 😭

I'll sacrifice myself so you don't have to torture yourself ~ 😅

Original all the way! And even if you feel the 1st is not your cup of tea, you should still give season 2 (Ossan's Love Returns) a chance. It took all the best parts from season 1 and gave more depth to the story and characters + the comedy is 10/10!

Let me introduce myself, I'm one of the biggest fans of the original Ossan's Love 😌. That means, I'm also going to be this remake's biggest critic. So "look forward" to my comments after every episode.

The story will still be about the main characters it seems.

Definitely brace yourself if you end up watching it 😅

It's a good show overall, but unfortunately, the FL's English fluency is not believable at all. I wonder if it was done on purpose because I refuse to believe they genuinely believed she sounded good enough for this role 🙃

I'm enjoying this so much. It's soo funny and I love the main characters!

Man, I really miss all these chaotic characters. I might end up rewatching everything from season one 😅
