I really liked Go Ahead, but one of the things that never sat right with me was Ling Xiao and Li Jian Jian's relationship. I knew that they weren't blood-related, but the fact that they grew up together, treated each other like siblings, and still ended up developing romantic feelings for each other really bothered me.
1 thing that I dislike about this drama is ml, the way he interact with crown prince is quite disrespectful, he…
Thank god I'm not the only one who thinks like this. I have been annoyed by the way Jinu treats the prince in recent episodes. He is being too bold and disrespectful. I know this is just a fictional story, but one of the main plotpoints of the story is that the female lead is pretending to be the real Crown Prince. She is supposed to be doing everything she can to not let others get close to her no matter what. And the male lead is supposed to be her tutor only because he is being forced to. He should be more careful with his actions unless he wants his dad to kill his friends. It's very unrealistic, in my opinion, that he is able to get away with so much without being heavily punished by someone from the palace for treating the prince like that.
Sorry, but it is a youth romance saeguk so i think it will lean on the romance side. Also jiwoon as of now isnt…
Idk, I still feel those are weak reasons for them to already act as if they are interested in each other. Even if the are not in love yet, the way many of their scenes together have been directed makes me feel that their (romantic) attraction to each other is developing too fast (for example, the last scene of today's episode... What was that?). Anyway, I already knew there would be romance, but the story has potential for more than just that.
I feel this drama would be better if it didn't focus so much on the romance. So far, I am not convinced by Jiun and Hwi's relationship (and their interactions). Besides their childhood connection, why would they even be (romantically) interested in each other after so many years? I am way more curious about Gaon's backstory, and the politics.
