I guess I've watched too many kdramas because these repetitive storylines are making my eyes roll. oh look, the FL is tricking her bf away to "protect" him. now she's erasing herself from his life to "protect" him. God forbid they work together to take down 1 guy. 🙄🙄🙄

responding for other readers: she is literally the opposite of a "slut". Here's someone who thinks women should only date one man in their entire lifetime. this is a typical Chinese FL where she is only physically intimate with one partner throughout the show.

this drama was pretty good to start with but like many Chinese dramas it started to get muddled and less interesting past the halfway mark. but hey, not everyone can pull off a 40+ episode series. I don't regret watching it, the FL is far less annoying than the majority of Chinese fls. in fact, I was only annoyed with her in 2 scenes (noble idiocy & drunk baby talk). you might enjoy this if you like modern dramas focused on female perspectives of different relationships.

oh wow, they're a hater? I really couldn't make sense of their deranged way of talking, if you can call it that. I'll give it a try in the future

im unable to scroll down to look at a random sampling of comments and gauge whether this is worth trying. maybe I'll check back later if/when ppl are allowed to comment their opinions here.

I don't really like watching Zhao Li Ying if I can avoid it, but it's the ml dubbing that is too much for me this time. this guy's voice is so overused, it completely takes me out of the story. 😒

the aggressive spamming in the comments makes me think this show might be the kind with toxic issues that attracts crazy ppl....so I'll pass. 1/10

it's just low quality, but the audio was not tolerable to me. especially her baby-voiced friend. 🤬
