wow, that was hard to follow along with. I really don't like these types of dramas that skip around with the timeline and cut between events where you have to keep piecing together what just happened. it seemed from episode 5 to 8 that it was hard to follow along and lost focus on the ML. I had to force myself to finish it. this would be a great watch for someone who likes that kind of drama. I just want to chill

I watched it on 1.5x speed and still felt it was draggy. it didn't feel very satisfying, so just kinda of meh. it's an 8/10 for me so its worth a watch, has the quality expected of kdrama, but lacking.

sometimes feeling like a burden is not the same as believing you are a burden no matter what you do. I don't think this is something ppl who've never tried to die can understand. but calling ppl who already feel like a burden and are miserable, "selfish" for wanting to die, ignores their pain and tries to use guilt on top of guilt to keep them alive. it's really a mistake to say that to a suicidal loved one thinking that it will save them.
honestly, I think this messaging might've had more impact if he had killed someone's mother when he jumped off the roof. I feel like that would've helped bring the story around for him to learn a lesson. tbh it wasn't great to end it with the final message "think of your loved ones before dying." the #1 reason ppl off themselves is because they feel like a burden to their loved ones. so the message that you should think of how much you'll hurt your loved ones really doesn't change anything for the ppl who think their being alive is more hurtful to their family than their death. so, this drama feels like it was written by someone who experienced the death of their loved one by suicide, rather than someone who has struggled with this issue and survived.
I was entertained, mainly because of the amazing actors they pulled in for each episode. however, it's still a show trying to convince you to cherish your life because "it could be worse" or "everyone has good days and bad days" and "someone will miss you." it's a really shallow take on this issue and heavily relies on the concept of god and hell to convince someone to stay alive either from guilt or fear, or both.
blame censorship! lol. because there are dramas that couldn't openly be a BL and they had to be subtle, ppl are learning to search for subtle signs of gay love. also, as a woman, male-centric dramas are often less frustrating than dramas with badly written female characters. I'd rather watch a story about mostly men then watch a drama with blood-boiling female characters.
