So someone wrote this script, someone reviewed it, and someone put forth money to have this made? I do believe…
Hmm. I feel like y'all haven't seen enough BLs if this looks like students filmed it...I have some recommendations if you want to see BLs that really fit that description.
I like how they are showing Nhai confused and trying to find himself. Ep 3 was kinda cute but I can't stand Ai's…
It seems like a cultural substitute for top and bottom. It only seems to be brought up in referencing sexual position, not husband-wife roles. I feel like it should be translated as top and bottom, like in many Chinese BLs. But yeah, portrayal of verses is a rarity in BL.
I watch this on kiss kh and the subtitles are atrocious! Why? It's actually the only BL where this happens and…
Subs are bad on IQIYI. Also, I agree. The story of 3 girls stalking Ai and Nhai's friends was really pointless. Did those scenes make us feel anything? No. Were they important to moving the plot forward? No. Did it give us important information? No. Utterly pointless. These people don't know how to write a compelling story...
I love that they showed Nhai is confused and scared to loose Ai as friend if the trial relationship doesn't work.…
There are literally dozens of BLs with with the confused main lead and his suitor trying to win him over. Ping's acting is not enough to sell this worn-out trope. Eclipse is a great example of a well-acted and well-written conflicted male lead. Honestly, it's the only thing I like about Eclipse, the general plot is ridiculous.
wah. How did 40 minutes pass with nothing happening? Meen's acting is great, especially his microexpressions, but that can't carry the show. This episode would only have been interesting if Ping was able to portray a conflicted man with his expressions, not just words. Ugh, just missing the spice, this episode. Needs more seasoning.
Omg.....I just can't with this series. 4 minutes into the first episode and we have two actors who either suck at kissing or really don't want to make out with each other. Then comes the moment where one guy takes his pants off and one second later is pushed onto the bed with his PANTS and SHOES still on!!! Are they wizards?? I can't get past that jarring oversight. Or maybe it wasn't an oversight, but the only take they could get out of two actors who seem very uncomfortable with eachother... First impressions matter and this poorly executed start has turned me off from this series.
To be fair I'm pretty sure it's a difference in culture, especially dating culture in Korea. But that's just going…
has the US ever had a gay dating show? I can't think of one. Korea is so conservative about PDA amoung heterosexuals, so there is no reason to expect gay Korean men to display PDA or talk about sex in a show their family and the whole community around them can see. I think some people are going too far judging a foreign TV show without understanding it's context.
I wanna talk about members chemistry imoChangmin and jeonghyun have chemistry Hyukjin and seonyul have chemistry…
agree 100%. these are the couplings that make sense based on what we know about them from the show only. Sometimes we aren't able to see who would be a good partner for us and we dismiss that person immediately. I think a couple of guys are missing out because they are fixated on the wrong person. Especially Hokeep. He likes to be a caretaker and Changkyu is the best fit for him.
So does anyone else agree that it looks like Seonyul was the guy telling Hyuk jeon that he's happy that he is conflicted because of him? Maybe being forced to separate rooms, Seonyul is realizing how much he likes Hyuk jeon? And it looked like Chang min and Jeong hyun we're walking together at the end of the episode 8 preview?
What was Sun's dad's plan??? Sun's going to figure out that his family is the one in debt, the other person isn't…
Sun was sent as a form of payment and his dad tricked him into going there for that reason. It was confusing, but the same situation had just happened in a previous episode where the father sent his son to be a servant to the creditor as payment for interest.
Ok... I'm sorry to everyone who likes this drama story, but... these two are the most annoying couple for me.…
Mai Ding's behavior is really annoying at times, but for me it enhances the enjoyment of their relationship since we see An Ziyan love Mai Ding anyway. Their relationship feels more realistic since they love each other for no obvious reason. Most dramas depict relationships that "make sense" even though real life relationships usually don't make sense. The question, "Why do they love each other?" frequently comes to mind throughout the series. The answer is...they just do. An Ziyan, for whatever reason, loves Mai Ding's quirky/annoying behaviors. You can see this through his repressed smiles and laughter when they see a movie together. An Ziyan finds Mai Ding entertaining when he is being the most annoying. Every relationship expresses love differently and for theirs it's expressed via acts of service (from Mai Ding) and gifts (from An Ziyan).
Lol, classic. I love the openness and straightforwardness of Chinese BL. I also love the absence of the "I'm not gay, I just really love this man" trope.
After watching parts 1 and 2, I've been reading the full novel on wattpad and some commenters claim that they…
They definitely did not have actual sex in the series. The first sex scene was very unrealistic given that Mai Ding was a virgin. An Ziyan's entrance was too quick and easy which is unlikely even in experienced, sexually active men. In the second sex scene, the positioning of Mai Ding and An Ziyan (too high and far apart) shows that the actors were avoiding genital-to-genital contact.
