Correction: Li Meng is two years younger than Tan Songyun and Liu Xueyi. Her acting has more depth, because of the character she plays and I think she plays them phenomenally. She uses a lot of her facial muscles as well as the way she moves - everything is intentional and it is for sure lead worthy. Whether or not she's able to play a similar character as the lead is difficult to tell. She fits well in villain roles, but I do hope to see more variety.
Tan Songyun has micro expressions as well especially in her eyes; you say she does the innocent wide-eyed glare, yet I see her calculating, and thinking with her subtle eye movements. Her character is smart, she tries not to bring much attention to herself, but also wants to survive. In short, Songyun also brings depth to her characters.

Are yall not watching the drama? She already had a lover before getting married. She rejected her husband on the night when they were supposed to consumerate the marriage. She was the one who treated him like trash and had absolute no feelings towards him. Episode 8 confirmed everything that happened prior to the marriage. lol
There's too many close up shots of navigating the gears instead of full shots. I wish they did full shots of Si Xuan pushing buttons and whatnot to make it more convincing.

Ep 17 is one of the best episodes ever! it was intense, the acting was amazing, all the feelings they've been holding in finally came to the surface. its just chef's kiss(pun intended ifykyk) AAAAAAAH The anger Chen Yi had while he fought those thugs to protect his girl, the trauma surfacing afterwards. The argument between MJ and CY, and THE KISSS! UGH it was so good 😭
