Nothing compares to the manga... I felt so many things reading the manga. Also loved the anime. Every live adaptation fails to convert the deep emotional feelings. But I have to say lookswise the actors look like they came out straight of the manga! Especially Kou.
I'm at episode 5 and already bored. Can't imagine this going on for 11 more episodes. Might drop it. Sadly I don't feel the romance and I'm not fond of the second male leads personality at all.
Episode 13 and it's getting draggy af. I binged 11 episodes and it seemed promising that it won't drag too much to the end but man was I wrong... Less romance, more horror or action and cut it to 12 epsiodes would have been better. Lee Rang stole the show imo. He was the character who had the most depth.
I'm at episode 7 and I have to say I like this waaaay more than Strong Woman Bong Soon. I was hesitant to watch this drama because I disliked the previous one a lot. I seriously don't know why so many people like Bong Soon till this day because the humour is really bad and the plot was a mess. Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon does have its cringe moments like Bong Soon but this performed way better in every aspect than Bong Soon imo. I had very low expectations for Nam Soon so maybe this is why I think it's better. But so far I actually enjoy it. I also love the outfits of the female leads!
I know I rated this drama a solid 8.5 back then but I just came back here because I can't get this out of my head. I guess it has been two years since I finished it? This has everything I enjoy in a drama. Good comedy, great chemistry between all the characters, good romance (a bit lacking here but oh well), good story line/plot that doesn't drag after you watched half of the show, not many or no plot holes and a somehow good ending. Yet I haven't seen a drama in this genre that could top A Korean Odyssey. I actually quite miss the characters. I love dramas with Lee Seung Gi so much. Absolutely one of my favorite actors.
I haven't finished it yet but damn - there is no chemistry between the main leads. I'm actually more excited so…
After one more episode I don't think I can continue seven more episodes. It got so draggy and tiring to watch. So many plot holes, too many back and forths between the main leads, romance feels flat, no other side storys or plots besides her cancer and the love triangle. I actually binged and enjoyed the first couple of episodes. Kinda sad that it turned out like this after 8 episodes because it has been a while that I felt like binging a drama.

At first I thought this would be way more dramatic but it's actually pretty boring. I can't bring myself to watch the last 6 episodes. I don't care how she died because I don't really like the FL. No one in this drama really stands out or is likeable.
The story is up my league but I can't continue and idk why. I'm stuck at ep 5. It's somehow boring? I'm dropping it for now. I'm stuck at this series for too long now and didn't make any progress. It's time to move on.
I think the second half is way better than the first half. It was a pretty good revenge drama imo. I don't know what others expected because a lot of people say the revenge was underwhelming. Imo it was well done! This is literally the best outcome. I also enjoyed the little romance even tho I kinda wished to see her with Doyoung. Their chemistry was kind of better.
It has been such a long time that I've been in love with a rom-com drama and all the characters included. My heart beats at the romance scenes. I'm for real in love with the main couple, especially the FL. I want to see more FLs like her. I'm really enjoying this. 10/10. I can't remember the last time I gave a rom-com a 10/10.
I actually thought they would focus a little bit more at the romance part. Kinda disappointed myself right there. Loved 8loom's songs and performances anyway!
You need to watch this in one go or you might lose interest like I did after a long break. Now I can't get back into it. But I have to say I was not much into it in the first place. I still would've completed it if I didn't do the break but now I think I won't.
Towards the end the show got a little bit more interesting and I would say that is thanks to Jinyoung and Sejun. Jinyoung is for sure a mysterious type. I also didn't know what he was thinking or feeling most of the time and/or what his next move will be. That made the show a little bit more interesting to watch. If it wasn't for him then the show would've felt really flat.
I'm also really glad Sejun came on this show because he and Soe really had a k-drama like interaction that made me smile. I wish that he would've been there from the beginning.
Also I have to mention that I'm kinda disappointed that they reused everything from S1. It would've been nice seeing other games or other locations or maybe some new rules. It felt repetitive to S1 and took away from the excitement because you exactly know what comes next. The characters were all pretty similar and that made S2 boring to watch imo.
Highlight of the show: Lee Dahee's outfits. They were stunning and she looked soo pretty in every outfit!

The ratings should be way higher
For me it got a lot better from episode 4.
