One of the best drama of 2019 for me, and That's saying something. Because 2019 is very good year for Korean Drama! Kim Ji Woo is BAck, And my waiting of her come to find her footing to write excelent drama again finally get paid off. Memory is good, But still, this drama is even better.
This drama must be have some of the best ensemble cast this year. We witnessing some of the most passionate acting I've seen. The acting of the whole important cast is really excelent for me.
Oh Man Seok is definitely as usual reliable as an actor potraying heartless human being, but deep down I can see his vulnerability wanting to come out but can't, depsite his limit screen time, he is excelent. But It's Cho Yeo Jung performance I have the most suprise. Excelent showing vulnerability throughtout the show, and it's not easy! . Has she ever be this good?
I think it's because i long for a melodrama with good acting skill. I'm so drawn to this drama within the first episode. It's not perfect. But oh boy, how I miss a compelling melodrama romance? When done right, this kind of drama will tug your heartstring because the actor tend to give their all. Shin Hye sun is killing it with her acting and suit with this kind of roles.
Kim Go Eun Please. I miss their on screen chemistry! Or I really wish the female lead is someone who can act with wide range of emotion, so it's not only comfortable kind of chemistry, but also who can bring alot of feeling.. From list above, Seo Ye Ji is the most fitting for me. Her chemistry with Lee Jun Ki in Lawless Lawyer is good!
But honestly I just want him to pass this drama. They have already holding it for too long. Move on to the next project, Kang Joon.
Ryo Gyeong Soo is so amazing here. First time watching him, he is basically stole the show. His scene with Yo Jae Myung is terrific and give me chills to the bone. I got fooled by his char many times, have a hate and love relationship with his character quite dark but can't take my eyes of him. Wishing the writers use him in a more important roles.
This drama is painful to watch. If not For Seo Kang Joon, I will never touch it. But it's further confirmation why PD Lee Yoon Jung choose him as In Hoo in CITT. Through this drama, He is already showing sign of good acting in this web drama. And embodied a bad boy image to a T .
Kim Ban Di's writing in Inspector Jo remind me of Park Yeon Seon writing style. It's like Evasive Inquiry agency. Quirky drama with cohesive story telling is hard to find. Every scene give you information, clue, and further narrative. There islittle gimmick yet. It's predictable, but executed cohesively with a lot of heart.

It's okay. We have different perspective. It's my kind of drama, and it's blessing a drama with good topic is being appreciated as of late. And the story told is not fresh, but it's not lacking any depth and we have to become an active viewers to understand what the writers and actor real intent.
n inspiring work from Kim Ji Woo. After several dissapointment project from Fermentation family, to shark which has good structural plot but lacking in heart, she finaly inspired again along with her partner in crime Park Chang Hong throygh this drama. Hope it's stay like this to the end. I think it will Another fav of mine from this combo beside the devil and ressurection.
At times we are just don't want to drop a drama is because we love the director or the writers past work so much you just have the tiniest hope they will deliver too this time but nope they actually didn"t. But might be it's just happen to someone like me who has irrational love to someone behind the camera.
Can I just say, Lee TAe Ran is amazing acctress? These past episode confirm it. And episode 19 confirm it Ye Seo and his mom Han Seo Jin are one of the most well written character in this drama along with Lim Soo Im for me.

I agreeon Prof Cha, In My Opinion, the down side about this drama is the treat of profesor Cha character and how the show pointing finger at him already without given him proper time to siding him (He Has A apoint) , and sudden change character development of Kang Joon Sang and Park Soo Chang due to some of dramatic turning point are also one of the weakest plot point for me (But still for some reason, It's just work) But that's forgiven, since the show is never shy away from the narrative from start until now .

First : We can't just judge her character wrong based on her decision choosing coach Kim despite the red herring pointing finger at Coach Kim. It's Seo Jin's own responsibility to choose Coach Kim to achieve her goals, but can you blame her? Her own child desire force her to make the decision in the first place. It's not like the previous case when the mother force her own child to study. Seo Jin and her child have the same goals. countless times she want to end it with coach Kim, but she refuse because of her own child has already too deep into Coach Kim's arm. There is greed and selfishness in her decision, but it's not sacrificing her own child.
Now, she is already gone too far, she can't break it easily after thinking how much sacrifice she has been went through with her own child (remember when both of them reminiscing the past?). That's just very human. But it Means she is start to think to stop this, but it's hard to do so. Means, She has coincience. I disagree she has no remorse. She know how it feels to be in Seo Im's and WOo Joo's position, hence, Her silent when she look at woo Joo's eyes in her visit. I will do the same. I will be scared too before taking decision, trying to look heartless to your own benefit. But deep down, you have coincience.
She is quite patient with Hyena considering she is a daughter of his ex. and let Hyena live in her house.. Why should she feels anything to Hyena? Hyena used to torment her and her daughter when she live. Yet, she remind her husband to keep visiting Hyena's funeral before regreting it, there is something coincience left in her. For me, She is the most well written character (along with Lee Soo-Im, and her daughter, Kang Ye-Seo) in this drama. Makes sense, after all, she is our female lead. There is no sudden u turn (though It's still somehow work) character development like Kang Joon-Sang and Park Soo-Chang case . It's really fun watching her character evolved.
I agree though, Han Seo Jin shouldn't be get away with every worst decision she made. But WHat she did, I won't consider it as purely evil yet.

But it's her responsible for trusting Kim and ignore her suspicious in the beginning about coach Kim. You are giving up meanwhile your objective already in front of you. It's for her child as well.
