I'm not hooked on the premise, the characters or the acting as of now (3 episodes in) but I wanna give it until…
I'm hooked. But I agree I will watched the first 5 episode, if their main intend is to create unnecesarry love triangle, and not touching the intriguing narrative, I'm out, thank you.
So exactly why Park Sae Roy is letting Oh Soo Ah destroy/hurt him and still wants to be friends with her am I…
I have no idea why Sae Roy attached to Soo Ah too. Him loving So Ah doesn't make sense to me. There must be something that triggered him. But the writers don't have convincing reason so far. But I think that's the point. Writers want to potray that he is that kind of person. Too forgiving and understanding to someone he close to that it feels unhuman. The breaking point in his live might only his father death that trigger him almost going to the dark side.
And here I'm still in for Ryoo Kyung Soo. After having glimpse of hope looking for him on screen in first 2 episode without result, he get introduce in episode 3, and has alot of screen time in episode 4. Tears!??. The painfull truth become a fan supporting actor like him. ? But As expected, he is not dissapoint me
I actually applaud the writers for making an anti heroine for So Ah character. I actually understand her decision in the 1st 2 episode. For someone at that age, looking at her situation which is hopeless and need support, her decision make sense, might be the audience won't like it. But that's majority people will do in her situation, unfortunately. I like of what the writers doing. That's quite daring characterisation for a female lead. But at episode 3 is when I don't understand her at all.
But nevertheless, this character really complex and expand her acting. Seriously I always looking for her character, because she one the most interesting character so far. She is remind me Han Jae Hee of Innocent Man.
Well while I'm not afan of this drama. I'm glad Jang Dong Yoon received popularity thanks to this drama. Can't denied. Big impact this drama has for hia career. But I hope this drama is not an indicator his future project.
I'm really like strong badass female lead. But often times, they feels pretentious like wish fullfillment without any real life persona, and at times to the point very unrealistic, something i can't relate... Real Life person has their own frailty and vulnerability side. They have ego, but also they can be pushover too. I appreciate a drama that acknowledge that.

Just watched the first 2 episode. So far so Good. Didn't expected the drama makes me cried so much at the middle of the night! It might be something to do how the situastion of Go Ha Neul hits so close to home. Glad they acknowledge human has vulnerability and frailty moment in that kind of situation. Thanks God another drama I can finally watched from Seo Hyun Jin. Her acting is so understated here, but subtle and impactful. You won't even find Oh Hae Young vibes in her acting as Go Ha Neul. They look like a different person, just played by the same acctress.
Finished it today. It might be Jang Dong Yoon best acting yet for me. This kind of character challenge him so much as an actor. I heard he is not the first choice. That's just crazy. I can't imagine someone else playing Han Ji Hoon. I can't believe he can act this good in his first year of becoming an actor. He outacted some young actor who has more experience than him and can compliment someone like Jo Jae Hyun.
Ryu young jae writernim is sooo busy and in demand nowadays.... After psycopath diary, and now another drama ? Wth? So fast. Usualy the writers take at least 6 month or mostly 1 -2 year to finish write another new drama... Impress.
This is awsome. Kind of tackle of A man and a woman prejudice. AT first they follow all the instruction of every textbook step how should a woman or man dance. But It can't be work because The roles of a textbook man and woman is for a man who is supposed to be taller and stronger than the woman. So in the end, They are doing the opposite, The woman take the man role, and the man take woman roles. It doesn't make the man less manly and the woman, less feminine. they can still makes their dance attractive.
In my opinion, obviously he did bad shit but he wasn't either fully good or fully bad, shown by the way they started…
@tats: While I Agree with you about others think. For Me Everything is not making any sense, or doesn't has emotional resonance, from the queen reason she has to stay with the King, or Yulmu stopped to pursue killing Nokdu and stated him as dead in front of the king. everyone motivation or decision is suddenly doesn't make sense to me, or has no real depth. But one thing what makes sense in the final episode Is Nokdu's abandoned his bio father. It might be not the right think to do for his own father, who really need him for the next 9 years. But The King realized it, It's unrealistic to hope Nokdu will come back to him. Just as he stated, He is not only abandoned his son, He terrored Nokdu and his adoptive family in almost his entire life until in his 20's, and tried to killed him. In result, Nokdu Continue moving and in hiding, heck even until the end of the drama. In the first episode 31, We witness, how tired his whole body and his emotional stated, that he could die at any moment at that time. At first, He did give the King a chance. He tried to help The King preventing from the revolt to happen. But The King is still pointing the sword on his neck while Nokdu being vulnerable in front oh the King. In that kind vulnerable stated, can't expected someone think rationally. The Only mistake Nokdu did was he is pn Yulmu's side for awhile . But still, Understable he is being emotional, after the King did to him all this time. The King doesn''t know what the consequences his son has to get through.
What I hate is they let Yulmu become the King. No matter how hard they tried to convince us viewers Yulmu doesn't find happiness or whatever. Or the real history stated that the real King Injo didn't had full authority as a king, But the show doesn't pointed out that fact. What we know he is smirk while being on the throne and has achieved his dream of becoming A King, after what he has done to the whole widows village. Umfortunatly, The expense Nokdu abandoned his biological father is Yulmu Becoming a King. I actually wonder what the conclusion they come up with. but really it's turn out dissapointing.
I agree with you about the point went into an isolated Island is not exactly a happy ending. Did they forget how awful is that in the beginning of the drama? Even his adoptive mother died because they kept hidden and on the run for 20 years.that's the whole point why Nokdu went to Hanyang.
Dear Shippers, BEWARE: Please protect this couple by NOT shipping them too hard. I understand that they look very…
I might be dissagree that WWWSK couple has good chemistry. But i agree with your whole point. I actually believe they don't have feeling for each other unless they confirmed they are dating.
