It's addicting, though I've never invested too much with the story. The psycho killer storyline in the third act really make the drama less enjoyable for me though

The Narrative is so compelling. I hope the writers won't lost the track

@D-town : MCW is abit unconvincing in earlier Episode, lacking sincerity especially in the flashback/romantic scene with Lee Jun KI. But she is getting it right when the case involving her emotional char arc/journey gradually unfold. We WIll see.. I'm still holding of hope she will deliver. I know she can do it. .

Definitely I'm not one of those who will praise bad acting In my opinion. Everyone has their own biased. There is alot of people who overlook bad acting of their biased like SUzy, SeolHyun, etc. But there is a bunch of people who bash Suzy, SeolHyun, etc.... too But real actor also shouldn't get pass from critic their performances just because they are "actor". We are not bashing them here. We critic their performances.

@december2689: In War of the Arrow, Nice Guy performances, Moon CHae Woon is outstanding And I already consider her perfomances has already hits maturity. But I don't know why she is regressing in this drama. I assuming It might be due to her choice of project recently not helping her at all. But I'm hoping she will deliver a great performances once the plot gect more juicy. I believe in her.

Sorry, I agree MCW is lacking here. Might the consequences which keep picking bad project which is not always train her real skill. just watch her performances in Nice Guy and compare to her performances here. and compare to Lee Jun Ki perfomances which already hits all the complexity required. she is not bad, just lacking something.

around episode 13-16 is really a let down because the filler and formulaic story is become too apparent.. I can't bear to watch the side story between Dal SHik and Geum Bi they definitely has add nothing to the narrative, and the love triangle fighting 2 male over 1 lady thing is just so formulaic and definitely in a way to draw viewers. The story would be much better construct without those story. But all in all, I will try to forgive. , I actually enjoy it so much. The final conclusion is not as deep as I hope for. The side story with Jang Mi and Dae Hyun's mom as long bestie is a nice touch. I actually think their story is what make the mom become a richer character. that make her behaviour to accept Yeon Jo despite the humilation in the past make sense. I assume, she feels she is the one who can't get rid of the though, if her husband marry her best friend and not her, Her husband might be find in a more comfortable environment.

All in all, the conflict, despite not resolved with better execution, still not losing the track of what this drama is all about.

parasite parody really fit with the overall narative so applaud them for that.

REally glad I watched it without prejudice. This drama is good. The only filler I complain and out of place is Dae Hyun's best friend. The rest is just fit with the narrative and important to make the story flow naturally.

The narrative is clear, Depictiont ABout prejudice between poor and rich people and how realistic the conflict is. You might say, there is alot of theme which tackle this kind of issue. But It's rare a romcom potraying as deep as this drama is while present it with more light . And often romcom is over simplicity and shallow this kind of issue. potraying the audience want without much complexity thrown. Episode 10 the emotional build up is paid off beautifully. I hope the drama will be as good in the remaining episode.

And how refreshing it for once, the drama acknowlegde the conflict between rich and poor in a romantic relationship is not as simply about two accepting each other, but also think about if you can handle the society will see you. How refreshing is the drama acknowledge, that in the end, it's okay if both leads has poor background and can make beautiful relationship?

I have watched episode 9 continue to loving it! still doesn't lose trajectory intend yet! episode 9 is depict very realistics way to depict when higher economy status vs low income collide. can't wait to watch today episode. we know now what mother and father's Dae Hyun stand in this story. it's painful to watch. but it doesn't mean it's not good. that's how real life work at times. if you want something full love story ala romcom in this drama, sorry, this drama might not be for you. I hope the writers doesn't lose track and solve for an easy answer.

obviously, the girlfriend is ashamed to be in his world and more comfortable with her childhood friend. Yes, I think she is just afraid of losing his love and care for her that keep her holding back. I think the writers want to clear the prejudice about rich people(particularly woman is the richer one) just want to have fun when they build relationship with different background and in the end end up with someone with similar status. at times, they are in a serious relationship, but end up losing fight.

i dare to say this drama is better than healer for me. But might be @I'm just not the biggest fan of that drama. at least this drama has something good to tell and touching my heart. I think this drama is one of my fav of JCW.

I'm loving it so far. and really glad that they went on depict that close to reality. the struggle people with low income. there is the good and there is the bad one. poor people always the one who are vulnerable to get scammed, amd sadly the one who scam them are in similar situation. They are the one who can easily get scammedby people, poor people usually has low security. also they dreaming a better life and luxury, they get easily swayed, like Eun Byul case, and Dae Hyun's father. they end up being burden to someone close to them. the one who has relationship with a much higher social status often struggle to keep the relationship on going. it's either or not you both have strong will to clear the prejudice or ready to give up something. there is so much prejudice and different view of life between rich people and poor people that often set a cliff between them. I don't think they depict it brilliantly, but they put effort on it and at times, it nicely done. Put everything bad aside, from exagerated humor which at times not funny at times funny, age gap, and racism. you will find this drama has more depth than you really think. i also like they make the girfriend more human, the reason the writers took it so long to progress is because the relationship between them is one of the main narrative of this drama. In other drama, you can just easily make her look bad in front of the male lead, and suddenly sudden heart change. We also can see the male lead heart start to sway to Saet Byul.

You easily judge her instantly. I actually really like the way they depict Yeon Jo's char. She is not bad imo. It's just she judge people based on her life experience. She is from a rich family, so she basically judge based on her view. She is geniunely think BS tried to harm her, who literally beat people in front of her eyes., And in her eyes, its' bad. Period.

I think Yeon Jo geniunely like Dae Hyun. She love his kind personality. But she seems aware their world is different and hesitate about how her parent will treat his boyfriend And her personality and Dae Hyun seems so different based on their upbringing.
so it's understable she is hesitate. She is also not that sensitive about people behaviour who is not in her level. Like how she doesn't understand to handle about three woman behaviour in public toilet.

I love it. Some people don't know what's real what this drama has offered in 4 episode ? I think it's clear that this drama presenting a prejudice and social status and showing a real good story telling IMO. . Some people just easily judging just based on 2 or 3 negative aspect of people, be it appearance, education, or 1, 2 bad behaviour, and their existent basically be look down by people and most people turn away. That's why at first, Saet Byul is expecting very little from alot of people, though she tried. And Dae Hyun is basically the first person that she think he care forher... Like teaching her and scolding her, at least he is not ignoring her in their first meeting. She basically still a very young girl who happenned drop out of school, and her crush to Dae Hyun right now is like any other young girl in my eyes. Puppy Crush based on the first impression she face in their first encounter.

And I think Love triangle between this 3 people will eventually be about this. Social status and the prejudice will unfold. And I hope they will execute it in more depth and refreshing, also bring justice to sensitive issue like this.

I agree with you. I don't like the idea of Yuri being alive is called happy ending. Her real body has already been gone.it's just so weird if the writers choose her being alive. She is also has to face her second death if that's the case.

If Yu Ri come back to life, there is no guarantee she will live long afterwards, and if she is come back to life, Yu ri will face her second death, which is also unfair to her. Based on the story has already told, Her purpose in this world has already fullfill. Her place as mother and wife has already taken. It's her families who are still can't accepted her leaving, that is the reason God give her 49 days become a human, and her get a chance to be with her daughter. Let her goes to an after life. I don't like the idea that people think being alive the 2nd time is a happy ending for Yu Ri. Unless you commit so many sin which make you afraid facing an afterlife. I mean, facing the first death has already hard enough.

I think Gang Hwa being confuse and kind reluctant to express his feeling is very realistic. He love both woman. And who would have experience to face something like Gang Hwa? an already dead person you love dearly suddenly appear alive out of no where. BEing wishy washy is realistic. The reality in the real world is Someone capable of loving more than 1 woman or man.

I really love the way they depict how Min Jeong is through Yuri's eyes. It's so sweet how Yuri understand Min Jeong's contribution on rising her child. It's also shows Min Jeong is not unexperienced housewife nor she lack passion rising Seo Woo. Her problem is her introvert nature that make her less aware about how much Seowoo need interacting more surrounding and MJ as a Mom who should become an active person to develop Seo Woo's social skills. I know because Min Jeong is abit like me.

It's trying to depict many issue in High School environment, from bully, unfair treatment of student based on their social standing, the stress of to get the best score, etc, but they are just fail miserably.

I felt they lack chemistry too (Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon), It might be due to abit lack emotional investment on Seo Kang Joon part for me. He is fine. But there is just something missing. Does it because The way his character written can't reach him? I don't know, He was really good in his two latest drama The Third Charm and Watcher. It's Park Min young Who surprise me the most. Seriously subtle and has depth in her potrayal of Hae Won. I underestimated her before.
