Whaaat! YM let DJ go in the end! Am I supposed to feel bad for this horrible bastard! He can die writhing in pain,…
True... Kang Tae Oh's character is terribly written i feel sorry for him. But that he sits on the throne fits him so well. What a charismatic guy. Hope he gets another sageuk roles. Might be as a King.
While you think that the writers seems afraid to make a sad ending to avoid public unacceptable, I see this from…
Well, if it's not mean to be a happy ending, so be it. If it's fit your narrative. It's abit jarring he is facing life and death, all of sudden, he is perfectly fine and tada, he can escape, given all the difficulties he must face suddenly dissapear. It's just a cheap way road to happy ending. I just think this drama is not mean to for a happy ending one, logic wise, given the King and Yul Mu eventually rules the country. They should extend it to give the drama more justice of their conculusion of happy ending. But nope, it's not happy ending for me
It’s inspired by a webtoon and that one had a happy ending. I’m thankful it was both a sad but mostly happy…
The first half of final episode is a melodrama, meanwhile the second half is rom com, the tonal shift is jarring. I think in terms of writing it has has up nd down. What make me stay is the solid directing and good ensemble cast.
I actually abit dissapointed with the execution. I accept with the closure . But after the grant final previous episode with epic son and father face to face, i expect more. Abit sad the queen has to make a sacrifices. She is victim too... But well this is rom com after all... They focus on the happy ending. But for me... I think the final can goes both way. Sad or happy ending. I realized day by day the writers seems so afraid to make a sad ending to avoid public unacceptance so they goes with both version.
Nokdu turn to the dark side. Never seen this twist. Episode 13 is my fav episode. The way the writers make Nokdu witnessing his bio father's bad deeds. . and the tension when they are in one screen alone. Nervewrecking. Everything come to the right place. The only dissapointment is Nokdu doesn't get the chance to meet his bio mother as a son
I mean last ep dongjoo was great, but now suddenly she's back at the "I must leave you for your own benefit" but…
I think, she also think she won't be shaken by the fact that she will kill the father of her love one. She will aware this fact if she near nokdu. She can't afford to be shaken, her will has already too strong to stop. Meanwhile i hate her noble idiocy in the beginning which lack logic. But this time. Her logic to leave Nokdu make perfect sense. And even if she know Nokdu hate his father, fact is both are still blood relate. And her mission is really has nothing to do with him. By communicate with him and let him know her mission, means she will make Nokdu as her allies, and it's dangering Nokdu.
Jang Dong Yoon might be one of the best in his generation when it comes to show geniune human frailty, after Song Joong ki. That vulnerability is what makes me can't see him hurting.
His acting skill is so good. I am surprised that he didn't take any acting training. I hope he can take some classes…
I believe he take acting class.. his acting is getting better over the years. There is significant improvement. I just impress he is not graduated in art focus and his acting already this good. IMo He has natural talent.
His Best drama is still Just Dance to me, Despite he is not the main focus of the conflict. His acting has already look good there. His chemistry with Park Se Wan is just so natural. Though I Admit, Nokdu is his best performances till now. And I believe given more meaty work, he will even more shining in the future.
Hopefully, Kwon Hye Ji cast him again in her drama with him as the main focus.
Admit, it, I think he has natural talent. For someone who graduated in Economics (Not art/acting focus), He can compete with actor who has started their acting career earlier. His techinique is already so good, and can grasp the subtlety of his character is supposed to potray.
I want to watch beautiful days his first movie.. From the trailer I watched, It seems like a meaty roles, his acting looks stunning!
is it just me or do i feel like as this drama progresses its losing its... like impact? idk im just not enjoying…
I agree.. The humour in the first 4 episode at least it feels geniune in hillarity. and geniunely hillarous and make sense. Meanwhile in episode 5, It's obvious, It's pure force and fan service. I'm not moved on their comedy one bit.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the point of acting and directing. You should give it until episode 6 because…
I've seen enough. Let's agree to disagreed. Usually the first episode will have better episode in terms of editing and directing. It will be like this for the rest of the drama, unless they change the entire young cast and director all together.
God I miss those melodramas. I know many people don't like Melo but sometimes it's a bit too boring to keep having…
There is melodrama element in something like chrime thriller, or slice of life like the third charm. But But i miss those days when melodrama is the main genre. It's no longer dominating like Back in the days. They have no idea a great melodrama is complete addiction. Haha
Surprisingly, I Really like Oh Yeon So in this role. The audience really so harsh on her. I really do think it's unfair since she is being compare with an amazing Kim Go Eun. I think she is doing a really good Job IMO. And I really do like Yoo Ing Young better than Lee SUng Kyung potraying Baek In Ha who has no idea what her character is about.
Or else, I love The rest of the main character in the drama more. Seo Kang Joon and Kim Go EUn are perfect for the roles
I'm still feel it. Notvas obsessed as I was in the past. Now Korean drama is more varieties compare to in the past, especially crime thriller genre is getting better quality wise which back in the day is abit rare to find a good one.
Now genre who is no longer as popular and become rare are those heavy melodrama like Giant and a popular melodrama like Innocent Man, I'm sorry love you, Which is just can give me all the feels in the world. Gah...
I tried to move on to hollywood. I'm watching countless movie, but I'm getting bored easily. Now i go back to korean drama again. Haha
Strange since 2019 is the best year for korean drama for me after 2016. But i think the buzz is no longer as big so the excitement is no longer as high. Quality wise 2019 is the year where I get back to my korean drama addiction.
Hopefully, Kwon Hye Ji cast him again in her drama with him as the main focus.
