I wouldn’t call this “real life motivational drama”. In every turn, they were helped by improbable events.…
I agree erika, so far this is dissapointing

Yess.. it indicated of lazy writing, the writers might have no time to write with better execution. Journey felt dull. I think the villain is the one who is more interesting arc so far. Their principles and believe is getting challenged.

Am i the only one annoyed but the amount of moral speeches (specifically the way Park seo joon delivers them)…
So true. Their principle feels empty to me, because the character becoming very static, the challenge they face it's not challenging enough to questioning the protagonist choice and his principles . The writers always find a way of easy solution for our hero, lol

My first ever Korean drama actually A Melodrama, Autumn In My heart and All About eve. All ABout Eve is the kind of drama That Lure me in into Korean drama, hahahha. I think it's depend on genre you like Back Then, Melodrama back then is the start of a hallyu wave.

I love the chemistry of one spring night and just dance. In just dance, the romance is minimal, but when they are on, they give fluttering feeling and joy. Park Se Wan and Jang Dong Yoon so much chemistry and emotion. Oh God please recast them in a romances drama with Kwon Hye Ji script! I really love the script in individualist Jin Young also. Short but meaningful. I live with those kind of love story!
The romances of melodrama is one of the best in around 2003- 2012 because the strong geniune emotion they can give us. Unfortunately, it sseems korea doesn't love those kind of think anymore.

In my opinion, the drama is a little overrated. The plot is cliche and a bit predictable. The main character SRY…
I think I Aree with except character Yi Seo. She Is arise alot of interesting topic and problem, But because she falls for SRY, They solved it with, okay, and move on. like whatever.

It's not as good as I thought it would be. You can make a tipical storyline that make deeper and make them compelling. but none of the social problem they are arise unfold it with depth. It's just a surface so far. It's just a comfort food which can create comfort feeling and wishfullfilment to the audience, which I understand why the rating is high. After episode 4, I don't like the way they unfold. Even Soo AH, my most interesting character in the first 6 episode, become stagnant after that. The character become less interesting. Not feeling it. But I might be finished for the sake of it.

I think my fav is a character which has vulnerability in them, with make them more human. I think that's why I love Lee Ji An the most among those list. She is human with vulnerability inside. Her though behaviour is just a facade through her vulnerability inside, so so she won't get hurt and survive.

Ryo Kyung Soo - Yoo Jae Myung encounter finally happen in episode 6. I wait so long for this confession reunion. I remember their memorable encounter in that drama that lead to ellectric scene. Now the table turn, Ryoo Kyung Soo is on the protagonist side and Yoo Jae Myung on the villain side. Can the drama make them have important face to face scene together?

Btw, I love how the director choose their supporting actor. From Ahn Bo hyun, Yo Jae Myung, To Ryoo Kyung Soo, full of very talent people in one drama!

I've become such a fan of Kwon Nara, her portrayal makes her character even more complex and interesting
When she is torn between Indebt to Jangga and Ro Yi, i know deep down she really dying to reach him when Ro Yi start running try to catch her at the end of episode 6, I tear up watching her like she is so affected by it. what a good acting. What an improvement. Because of her potrayal, Soo Ah seems more human and complex, as you said.

Kwon Nara is soo good as Soo Ah. She improve so much since I first saw her acting in My Ajusshi. She make Park Si Yeon will probably proud of her. So Ah as a character is exhausting to potray, guilt ridden character that insist she is fine when actually she isn't. Its clear seeing her face she has been suffering all this time.

Exactly... I know some film can stand with amazing directing alone, but it's to the point of touching ridiculousness, and many coincidences. At the end, i wonder what's the point of this movie ?
