I just don't get why any of these actor are not nominated on Baeksang Award 57 including Song Joong ki? I honestly think there is some strong performances here including Joong Ki. SOng Joong Ki could make a nomination based on this movie instead of his drama Vincenzo.

different preference, I love Song Joong Ki, but this drama is not one of his best performances for me.

I feel sad to Moon CHae Won didn't get nominated. She is seriously has nuance performances here and has important part of the story and arc. I wish she get pick instead. Kim CHul Kyu deserved this award. I'm rooting for him and Beyond Evil PD to get an award.

It really is. a big fan service full of machoisme.

the character has no real arc. the villain has more dynamic in terms of character. look at his range in Innocent man compare to this. there is no real dynamics in his character. he is doing good. he is doing somrthing what he can do. but I think I miss seeing him in something more substance. arthdal give him meat but his character is underutilized surprisingly.

I really love Song Joong Ki and already a fans since his SKKS days. But his memorable roles is all his 2012 project, I miss those days when he use his talent in something has more substance and organic. This drama has no organic storyline and character arc, seems full of parody and disjointed. Cliffhanger after cliffhanger with no real drama or arc for our main character. Vincenzo's character is dull and has no real challenge to challenge his acting range. I has no reall attachment to his character despite loving him as an actor.
I'm glad he choose another shady character. But I hope his next project will be more organic to his story wise because in this drama, other character is more interesting than him.

I rate vincenzo 5 for quality, and 7 for enjoyment. this drama is pure entertainment . this drama lack a real drama.

This character doesn't required much subtle and wide range of acting skill though. Other character is more interesting. given Hyun Bin lackluster performances in CLOY despite Hyunbin inated talent, Hyun Bin will make Vincenzo duller. SJK can pull off manly acting really well. And AT least Song joong Ki infuss gravitas and depth to this character.

it's still Moon chae won best acting in drama for me. She is also great in The Princess Man... but this is her best performances., she is also showcase her good acting in flower of evil. but so far nothing can beat her acting here. so much emotion and showcase her range as an actress.

for me he sucks... we have different opinion in terms of acting.... his acting lack geniune understanding with character.

I don't think the tone will be change completely. they won't abandoned the comedy part completely. and with Vincenzo goes to South Korea in the face of seeing the innocent side suffering due to war with Babel. and with him finding his mom, it's away of his redemption arc. I don't think he will be a killer machine like he did in Italy. I think it will be awsome if the romance is functional to the story, and not only for fan service. they might won't end up together, but contributed to Vincenzo redemption arc.

yess.. this drama is atill an easy watch. though I really like the way they progress the romance of the 2 main leads. if Song Joong Ki is not in it and the female lead is not as good as Jeon Yeo Bin, I will never think of pick this drama. But I love the idea of premise like Vincenzo, a mafia, entering two worlds an everyday life in a dark world like against Babel group.

nope.. both leads perfectly cast. They might be better masculine than SOng Joongki with the same age. But most of them won't reach his subtlety and vulnerability behind that mask which is hidden inside him, which required in this character in terms emoting . he is master in this kind of roles.

he lack subtlety and can't emote complex emotion, at all... good luck to him in sageuk drama.

If you pay attention, he is pretty much lack subtlety and understanding of character. He can't emote at all. it work if you star in a brainless romantic comedy

If only the lead villain turn towards Kwak Dong Yeon, Jo Hang Chul, and Kim Yeo Jin. Taecyeon can't carry this dark roles. pales compare to the rest of the cast. seriously miscast.

agree with you regarding taecyoun. He is not suit this roles. He seems out of place when the scene get real meaty. Pales comparison from the rest of the cast.

He is really miscast.

It's more like make up artist than anything else which makes you unconvinced. he is totally badass and believable in battleship Island and believable in arthdal chronicle. don't the different between SJK and them. but I can totally see Lee Jun Ki playing it. but not hyun bin which is abit disapointing in CLOY nor Chi Jang Wook who comedy is not his strength.
