Yay I am so excited this drama is airing now. Will be watching it after I finish The Double.

I continue to be obsessed with this drama to the point I'm rewatching it for the third time lol. It is cool to go back and re-watch to see things I didn't notice during my first or second watch.

I am addicted to this drama! I love time travel dramas done well, and so far, this has been a really good one.

I just finished the first episode, and I am hooked! I like Liu Xue Yi after Love and Redemption, and his acting impresses me. I'm excited to see where the story goes from here and to see the main female lead!

Episode 2 got me hooked, and I can't wait for the next episode! ML and FL are killing it in the acting department- the end scene of episode 2 was so well done! Also liking the chemistry between the main leads so far.

So happy the show is so popular in China.

It also seems to be really popular amongst kpop idols (Ive seen like four different groups watching it) and it def. is popular in a lot of different countries based on Twitter posts, Tiktok views, etc...

I hadn't watched a show week-to-week as episodes air (I usually like to watch shows once they have been completed), but something about the Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung pairing enticed me to watch My Demon as it aired.

While I admit the plot lost me a little bit past episode 10, I still enjoyed the show, especially the prominent couples' chemistry and scenes together, which is the strongest part of the show, in my opinion. Kudos for Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang, and the rest of the cast for their acting; thank you to the main couple for executing some epic scenes (tango scene, kiss scene in the garden, etc...) This is one of the only shows in a while where I didn't fast-forward any scenes, so even if the storyline got a little meh towards the end for me, I still appreciate the show overall and the light it brought into my life as I watched it and the fantastic chemistry of the cast. 9/10.

I still love the chemistry between the leads and episodes 1-10 were perfection, but the cracks started showing in the script and story from episode 11 for me.

While the ending of episode 15 was tragic, and the acting on point, I just can’t get behind the plot line because of the villains character. He fell of a huge building and sustained no major injuries, burnt half of his face off and needed no hospital treatment, survived getting crushed by the boulder with no major injuries to his body and was still able to point and shoot the gun????

Dohee dying trying to protect GuWon at least makes some sense: she acted on pure instinct in that instance, and I can get behind GuWon not noticing the gun and not being able to react fast enough to stop it (I guess) but the bad guy still being alive and able to point and shoot the gun in the first place just doesn’t make sense and I feel like the writers could have set up Dohee sacrificing herself a different way.


I will continue to like the show due to the acting and the main leads chemistry but the plot and story has fallen for me since episode 10.

Def agree! It fit with Dohee's character- who has been said to hide her emotions and not communicate her feelings when she is upset or hurt. Also don't think that anything GuWon said (except maybe talking about their past lives) would have changed what she was feeling. I feel like the time apart will be good for both of them in the long run in terms of coming to terms with the past and what happened.

they were doing pretty good in the beginning but episode 14......lmao all of the communication flew out the window.

Yes, the first 10 episodes were perfection. I think the hiatus of the show due to award seasons did not help, and then having episode 11 feel like a filler episode (at least to me) def. did not help after the break. While I still really like the show, episodes 11 and 13 felt like filler episodes, in contrast to every episode up to ep 10 being interesting and moving the plot and storyline forward. Thankfully episode 14 picked up the pace and the storyline again (at least to me)!

For me, the show really picked up in episode 3. I wasn't impressed by the first two episodes but really liked the pacing and storyline starting in episode 3.

Totally forgot about this, but since Dohee’s dad made a deal/contract with GuWon he did not just die but he was sent to he**…..😢

I’m interested to see what the deal was…

I also hope they are not separated all of 15 but I have a feeling we won’t get happy scenes of theirs/them getting back together until the last episode 😭

Also thinking about it in context, finding out that her dad died that way put it into perspective for Dohee and made it that much harder to handle/watch.

I want to applaud Song Kang for his acting in ep 12. I watched him in Love Alarm back in 2019 and can see the progress he has made with his acting. His crying and emotional scenes in ep 12 connected with me!!!!

Also, someone made a good point on Twitter: how is it that both parents died due to the contract? Did they both make a deal with GuWon? A 2-for-1 deal wouldn't make sense.....so many questions!!!

That would make sense! It would also explain how chill he is about the whole demon stuff.

ep 11 was a little draggy for me but ep 12...wow so many twists and turns. I feel like there is going to be a lot of sadness in the upcoming episode. I hope they are able to tie everything together nicely by the end of the drama!!!!
