I agree with you regarding how different this series is.
What I was saying and perhaps unsuccessfully, was that because this runs at the same time/period/week/era as those other series, by the time we get to this series, it doesn't measure up. However, if one watches it independently, it retains its merits of course.
I thought I was going to wait for Last Twilight, but the algorithm wouldn't let me breathe and so here we are. Goodness, what a trip! Join us :))
The challenge right now is that there's Last Twilight and The Sign which are captivating and so this series feels lackluster...perhaps after the adrenaline rush of these two, we may return. For now its hectically boring!
