It was very interesting and heart warming to see Tian be expressive with Wang at the match. A very different boy from the one who appeared aloof and distant.

Also, I miss his 'moments' at the end of every episode. Now that he's an open book, we no longer get those secret thoughts.

I am guessing these would be the same people who have a problem with gay NC scenes. It speaks of a deeper problem of wanting gay stories but not gay people. I might be taking this a little too seriously, but this is the environment in which we live - among bigoted people who claim to be allies.
