I love The Untamed ending so i dont mind if tgcf have the same ending. If we got xie lian see the lantern and smiled without showing hc, i think i would be alright with that

I keep watching zhai xiaowen clip but i just cant see xie lian in him. I hope he prove me wrong because for me xie lian is the most important thing in tgcf. If xie lian ruined, then tgcf is ruined.

The main event only started at eps 15 or so, wait until then maybe? I know many people who didnt like the first 10 episode but ended up loving it

Tgcf has such amazing ensemble cast, this drama seems like the perfect drama for those chinese companies who like to put their rookie actors as side character to promote them, then trying their hardest to prolong their screen time.

TU started with 4 score in douban,ended with 7.9 score when drama end and rise up to 8.3 by november or december i dont really remember. Compared that with tgcf donghua who got high score at first and kept went down until it got 8.4 . I visit weibo occasionally and yes i dont understand chinese thank you for your suggestion. And no,i dont hate tgcf donghua, but tgcf deserved better than a team that not careful enough to get caught in plagiarism controversy 2 times. You said that the LA should learn from them,no they should learn from their mistake. Also are you chinese? To claim that TU no match in popularity compared to mdzs donghua??

For your information, TU douban peak at 8.3, its only went down to 7.7 after ao3 drama. Why compared drama score with other adaptation? Xianxia/wuxia drama getting 8.6 like WOH is rare, Tgcf donghua getting 8.4 (yeah,its down to 8.4) is good but not excellent. You acting like tgcf donghua didnt have like 2 plagiarism controversy and the animation keep declining by later episodes, one of the episode have really bad editing,fans complain that the fan service didnt feel natural etc

Also, WOH may get praised but not guardian. People even congratulate priest bc she finally get the adaptation that she deserves.

I dont think its about the platform and more about the producers and the directors. Tgcf donghua actually being critized bc its catering too much for novel fans, thats why its not as well received as mdzs donghua season 1. Youre saying TGCF is script
based and SV and CQL is visual based which i dont agree at all.

Watching 1st eps... Still pretty faithful to the webtoon, Though they didnt reveal Hyunsoo background yet (just a hint for now). My fav part in the webtoon actually the first half when its centered around Hyunsoo inner turmoil which i think its unique,compared to second half where its more focused in survival part.

I think his face too 'sharp' for xie lian. Though xie lian is my fav character ever,so i feel like no body can be good enough to play him
