I read some comments that it already goes downhill starting from ep 8/9. I must say I didn't really notice it,…
I enjoyed your post and agree with you points!
I was rewatching and was stuck by what a piece of 💩 the ML was until he realized he loved her when he stated getting jealous once she worked in the same office.
I’m not sure how long they were married but I don’t think they slept together as they didn’t have that relationship.
Then in episode 3, because he is an A-hole, he decides he is sleeping in her room. Maybe Korean woman just accept and do whatever their husband tells them (I don’t think that) but she gets in bed to go to sleep and turns on her side. He tells her: it’s rude to turn your back on the person in bed with you. How would he know?
What!! Dude you’ve ignored her years… now you tell her how to sleep. I know that would fly with most wives.
Maybe she tolerates him because her family is worse? Ugh…so frustrating!
I'm in your camp. The old saying goes, "2 wrongs don't make a right." While Hy Re is no angel in this…
Agreed. The main thing is the FL is an adult and (if real life) would have my issues from her mother’s disappearance / abandonment while her father was in prison for murder.
The lying is hurting the daughter / stepdaughter they are thinking they’re protecting. While possibly causing HyeRa trauma that is possibly unwarranted because:
There are many things we don’t know about HR: >was HyeRa coming back for the FL, >how long was she in the hospital after the WToD hit her car, >did she have amnesia for a time?
[Or I’m overthinking!] Btw, how long was the father in jail for murder?
Just caught up with this madness and my first thought is WHY. Are they going to try a switched at birth trope…
I agree with most of what you said. Regarding SeRi, I’ve maintained she needs to be punished for the brutal assault on MiSo.
However MiSo’s (PTSD?) maybe not that but the assault was difficult to watch and I knew it was not real, but the trauma was missed by Lucia (sorry I can’t remember her Korean name at the moment). Lucia repeated said she’d fix everything for MS and failed every time. The missing her daughter’s spiraling down the dark hole of depression.
And GC further caused the trauma by taking away MiSo’s dream of the school she wanted and took her family’s income away. Ugh, that would be difficult for most of us.
SeRi was never raised (though not an excuse) with love. The Min family is not about love. I thought it was quite telling how different SeRi was once Lucia showed her attention, care and love. (Fake though it may be.)
SR was never punish after being thrown out of many school in the US & Canada. GC just made it all go away. She never learned consequences other the the inconvenience of having to go to a new school.
I agree the writers just realized that have to fill 120 episodes not 100 so they are coming up with the switched at birth trope. Thought last week we were shown SeRi was born in a hotel or vacation home with Manager Gong as the midwife.
And why does the chairman worry and tolerate disloyalty and blackmail?
A few weeks ago he killed a man with his bare hands and then went to his own wedding!?!
(still hasn’t spent a night with his wife btw🤦🏻♂️)!!
Bonus Btw, I wonder if the chairman will tolerate his driver after what happened yesterday?
Like the other daily… that should be a scene only once a week! 🤔
So it will be a fairy tale… “and they all loved happily ever after”…🧚🦄🤔?
Well it is a Kdrama! 🫣🤔😆
PS:
Is this is our only new episode this week?
Is tomorrow a sports program?
Maybe that’s only Swallowed the Sun’s channel!?!

But at least she didn’t go back to her abusive ex-husband!
And very True about meaning nothing as a housekeeper, even the family members mean nothing between each other! 🫣
It’s going to be a slow week with I heard 1 new episode…
Hopefully we will see real growth and empathy regarding SR, but it’s a daily Kdrama so there are no guarantees!
Hopefully they have an plan in mind because right now it’s not a super cohesive story…
(Like what husband wants his new wife sleeping in his daughter’s room?)
As much as complain I will miss it most of this week!
I think we only get 1 or 2 new episodes this week. 🫣

(Sorry for the long reply 🫣)
AOTM sounds interesting!
You’re right a couple slaps, once kneeling & a few tears now she’s got she wants..
I loved the loan shark Mom… “so if the real YC comes back asks she wants the husband…”
they’ll just switch because that’s how it works… 😂
