I think when he met DaRim, it was in a film class during his undergraduate studies.
The film thing could be an interest of his, but if he wasn’t allowed to pursue any other degree or field of interest & he signed it… then he is screwed!

He wasn’t, I believe working while attended grad school for this MBA.

He grew up with wealthy parents or at least when his mom married his father. He could have had enough money to pay for a film school certificate/degree.

I believe he worked for the company prior to the MBA or why would the company pay for it?

Can we agree if the company did not pay for film school, whether it be himself or with mom’s money, then the issue is a non starter?

What he did while on his own time (and with his own money while going to MBA school - attending classes & passing) is not the company’s business?

GJ paid for the film school himself, that’s what he stated.
I think it’s just Plot device/issue to cause him to be removed from the company and TU to get in to the company. 🤔
