I know there was another comment about the dad being the best dad in a drama, but I’m sorry.. I know he was dying and wanted to accomplish things but to me he s the worst!
I’m sure it can be argued but the father is the best but he causes most of if not all of the issues.
Just before Hyun woo punched Eun Song, he goaded him saying something about "did you fall in love with her after…
I think the saying “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone” plays in to HW change of heart. He was unhappy in their relationship and he didn’t know what else to do. HI wasn’t the easiest person to talk with and was shown to be cold in general. (I like the ep 11 HI,)
Once he realized that she could be gone forever his love and caring took over his unhappiness.
Marriage isn’t easy especially in a relationship where you’re estranged from you spouse and your in-laws can tell you it’s time to make another baby. And just a suggestion but an order.
Since you’re watching this and have watched it,your opinion please…. Why would the father force his daughter…
Amen!! I always thought if I dated a Korean,, it would be difficult culturally. I think I am respectful but not to the point f letting someone run my life and make decisions for me (and spouse)!!
I am re-watching this drama. I first watched it about 7 or 8 years ago and loved it so much. I have always recommended…
Since you’re watching this and have watched it,your opinion please…. Why would the father force his daughter to go out with someone she hates and hurt her, that doesn’t makes sense. I know that this a family drama (fiction) but that just seems cruel for a parent to do…
I can’t believe that HI got back in ES’s car after he suggested not telling HW the truth…well I can it’s a Kdrama!
I think King the Land had misunderstandings resolved quickly and well IMO. Also Perfect Marriage Revenge. Marry My Husband also.
Sorry I stated a list…🫣
I hate Eun Seong in the first 5 mins of ep 12 😡

I guess the fact that HW’s safe was broken in to will never be revealed?
Also I don’t think HW signed/stamped the divorce paper himself… I bet that ES (gosh I hate that character) did that when they broke in to the safe?!?
He agreed, but I can’t see him actually complying with her request!
Once he realized that she could be gone forever his love and caring took over his unhappiness.

I continued in a message…
I’m American, from the US, so I know these shows…especially the Family dramas (50+eps) are from the Korean perspective and their morals and values.
But this father just rubs me the wrong way. I kept reading what I ideal father he is/was but he is very controlling and somewhat evil…
To treat his daughter that was way was wrong, just like “beating-up” her boss because he thought she slept with him.
For goodness sake she’s a 37 year old full grown adult. Even if she did “sleep” as long as she wasn’t forced or attacked that her adult decision.
The way women are treated in Korean dramas really makes me angry.
Like was way Eun Ho forces Seo Wool around was wrong also. I guess they don’t subscribe to: No means no.
I’m on ep 33, I may need more help to get through the last 20 episodes…lol
Once again was my favorite but except for the issues above I’m enjoying this one!
PS: I sent a friend request, I’d be happy to have a longer chat about this! 🙂
