Yes the first time the 2ML asked YR, you know I liked you? (when talking in her office) She did not reply at all.

She needs to be stronger in her >> NO!
YR replied much stronger at the engagement party but was emotionally falling apart after the 2ML played his mind games.

I believe No means No.
The fact that he doesn’t listen or respect YR’s feelings and answer is the real problem.

That’s not love, he wants to possess or control her, which is the opposite of love.

I haven’t watched yet, but I hope he leaves his adopted family’s register.

There should be no way the ML can call his DC father, knowing he purposely killed his (biological & real) father.

Knocking before entering is a rarity in this and many other kdramas!!!

He was angry but he seemed eerily too calm if he had heard what was recorded. His father, pleading for his life.

If EA doesn’t step up and tell the truth, the ML would be right to walk away from her. Your spouse should not be someone who lies to you > especially when they know how badly you are hurting.

I feel that MH would only help YR if she agrees to leave the ML. And choose him.

I know you feel for the 2ML, but if the FL leaves the ML for the 2ML, that would be shocking (& disappointing) to many!

Without lies whether for “good” or ill - many kdramas would not exist.

It ended great, but she was teary and sad & anxious for what felt like a while. (I know sometimes it’s dramatic pauses, especially when she closed the ring box!)

Ah, I understand the rationale and reasons for your thoughts about the 2ML.

I thought initially she wanted to take his mind off of hearing the sudden truth of his adoption. I think maybe YR didn’t feel equipped to discuss such a “traumatic” topic - at least in Kdramas. (Or the writer didn’t want to dive deeply into that.)
They were still in high school both perhaps not worldly enough to talk about the topic either.

Many kdramas don’t show the same
care or compassion or even a hug for support as western shows.

Speaking of support, what did you think of at the end when YR was so upset she was overwhelmed with tears in her eyes and the ML, though kind and caring didn’t wipe a tear or give her a hug! I thought she needed a reassuring hug.
