So, yes she accepted him as a person, which is something uncommon (at least in kdramas) regardless of the fact he was adopted.

I believe she liked his brother and by extension since they were that same age or close to it & they all hung out.

As “kids”, both brothers bought her rings, a bit presumptuous, even though neither told her that they liked her in that way > more than friends.

The thing now is, I think it’s turned into obsession and he doesn’t care about her feelings. And his disappointment is turning toxic and evil.

Empathetically I would feel badly for him as he cared about her but respected her feelings.

Yes, it can be heartbreaking & it’s sad that she doesn’t like them the same way but it’s better than lying to him and pretending she likes him and then disappointing him later.

I mean honesty can be tough, difficult to hear, but I think it’s the best policy. And honesty is often missing in Kdramas.

That is one of those things that causes the most problems - across the board.

Yes, I think after seeing the preview of the ML in the elevator, it was similar to what happened to the FL’s fiancé in the first episode.
I think the 2ML had something to do with it. (Though I’m not 100% certain!)

I’m joining the rewatching the episodes club too! Though I rewatched ep 4 as well! I kind of feel for the FL that’s when she first realized someone (ML) is there for her and her wellbeing! Maybe I saw what in wanted to to see, but even rewatching these episodes is rewarding while waiting!!

Yes, I just started, but the FL was adopted by the detective investigating her parents murders. I think he did that to protect her by changing her name. (And she was alone after 6 months in a coma, with no family.)

Sadly until the ML remembers… everything! 🫣

You saved a lot of angst by skipping those scenes! When I rewatch I just FF thru them all!

So true, it’s really sad that the elders in these kdramas never care if their child/grandchild is happy marrying a person they aren’t attracted to, just get married and have babies.

(That kind of illustrates one reason S Korea’s birth rate is so low!)
