The 2nd couple romance was a filler to me, kinda boring. But I like the loan shark plot towards the end of EP5. Better they cut down the filler and let the shoe park case end in Ep6, now a bit draggy.

No. of viewers is an absolute nbr whilst rating % is a relative nbr that fluctuates with the performance of competitive shows in same timeslot. EP6 clashed with final ep of Walking on the ice which got nearly peak rating and that was reflected in its rating %.

She has the typical trails and mindset of Accountant/operations people, good at organizing and analytical work, but lack of vision and creativity. However that's why she's a good partner for the ML as they complemented each other's strengths and weaknesses.

I think it's normal to have some lesson learns for a newbie business, I'd more like to see how the business develop and expand after taking all the lessons. Agreed too much scam would be repetitive, so let see how the writer plot new challenges in the upcoming episodes.

The shift of genre in EP5 was insane. It started out with a bit comedy, then some slice-of-life and romance of 2nd couple, and turned into noir at the end... Interesting the genre transition was smooth not awkward. My only complaint is it's shorter than previous episodes.

Constantly seeing people comparing TF with Itawon class, some characters and background setting maybe alike but TF has a unique storytelling and sensibility that make a difference. Both good in their own way.

Obviously the writer didn't intend to write a trauma porn story. I think the main theme of this drama is "hope".

Re: Loveline. Having a life partner or getting married is part of personal growth for many ppl, esp during difficult time when more support is needed. Its so natural to hv loveline in a coming-of-age drama. The romance in TF so far was very subtle, as long as it's not overtaking the main plot or feeling forced then ok for me.

Good comparison between Taepoong and Nammo's mother. I really like in just 4 episodes various personalities were introduced and blended in perfectly, expecting growth of TP's mum in later episodes.

2049 rating: National avg 2.2%, peak 2.5%. Surprisingly good for a period drama at this early stage. 2049 is key demography for advertisers, its rating is an indicator of commercial and critical success.

Agreed. Character development and relationship were well written with enough build up, esp the transformation of ML was progressive and convincing.

A rollercaster EP3 with perfect ending, Taepoong knows how to make a calm girl Miseon emotional.

Maybe try first two episodes and see if it up to your taste. There is only little hints of romance not obvious.

This drama is genuinely for SK people, it doesn't have Hallyu agenda like BAYM to promo k-food. For dramas targeting global the production co. would invest in streaming for getting high viewership. I haven't seen that happened to TF yet except a few countries. When positive reviews started to flow in, Netflix may promote TF more but I feel their real focus is Cashero, they may see TF as a drama to hype up the lead before it's releasee.

The Netflix original content is going downfall again.

fr. I like there is no excessive filter in this drama, I can clearly see the skin texture of actors.

Did you watch Way Back Love? it's a romance drama and she did very well. The romance in TF is supposed quite subtle and slow burn one, probably part of the character growth only not the main focus.
