I think we sometimes crave the excitement and drama. Hence why we are so prone to juicy gossip at work. It just brings flavour in our sometimes mundane life. So I get why others enjoy something more dramatic. I’m not saying Home isn’t good. It’s just not everyone’s cup of tea. Some people just aren’t as flexible with genres.

Honestly, I get it. If this drama was acted by different leads, I may not have watched it. But 7 can make any cp onscreen look comfortable and natural.

Steady meaning no turbulence. The leads’ relationship is solid. After reconciliation, there’s no third wheel or revenge, just understanding, being considerate of each other, lovey dovey etc. as should a real ideal relationship be. Some people enjoy the excitement like revenge, third wheel, maybe some kidnapping and bribing sprinkled here and there.

I enjoy how gently he goes into the kiss with her and then it just gets steamy. Also the nose rub is just so cute and loving, so much affection. Everytime they kiss and do these nose rubs I just find that they love each other. LC is not a man of words, but little actions he does just shows how much he loves GX. Him making her breakfast from scratch (i.e., dumplings in the morning), knowing what she likes (he's captured her tastebud and tummy), checking expiration dates in her fridge, does chores. I want a man like that. GX will whine and he'll relent.

Overall, I find the love scenes very natural and comfortable to watch. Nothing of the cheesiness or cringe. I can always expect this of Seven.

I agree with the choppy editing, it's very sharp and abrupt. The scene isn't finished and it's switched abruptly to the next. But the leads' romance make up for it
