Also Seonho said in a fan meeting that the release date itself is a spoiler, probably due to potential Christmas scenes. Hongsis’ friend also mentioned in a blog(?) that it’s going to be released in December. Anyways, all we can do is wait patiently…

similar plot as they're both based on the same novel (neither is a prequel to the other). Another note is that the writers and directors are different.
There seems to be some confusion in the comments. There is both a series and a movie based on the novel, Second Sister. This page is dedicated to the series version (main leads being Kim Seonho and Park Gyuyoung), the release date is TBD and the tentative title is now "Unfriend". The movie version has confirmed its release date to Nov 2025 and the female lead (Kang Seoha) unfortunately passed in July 2025 from cancer. Since there's no dedicated page to the movie version, I think the actress/actors for the movie version were grouped under the series version MDL page...
