hate to say, as much as i love Yang Zi, i hate Jin Mi a lot... that character is the worst and dumbest FL i ever know, dont know why AOL can be so popular.

Xuan Ji, although she is "dumb" at the beginning due to her *ehem spoiler heart* and without her 6 senses.... but she gets stronger and stronger as the drama progresses...... she also has her own opinion and protects ML at all costs..... she isnt dumb and weak.

although there's a huge angst in the middle but the reason is reasonable enough and she does redeem herself in the end to the ML.... super love this drama...... took me 1 month to moved on....

Have to agree with u.... Very much well said... Im surprised when a person called others an old school minded and yet she or he cant set a good example to be open minded themselves. If they are open minded then they should just accept the fact that some people just arent into BL or GL and just accept it..... No need to create such a fuss =(

I love the FL, watched her in Ban Shu Legend 2015, sometimes its not the actress fault but more like the director or the script write for the Actress/actors to shine

one of the example that i super duper love the novel but hate the adaption is..... General and I!!

the drama is..... i dropped it .... what a waste of such great awesome story.

Its usually such a case though..... dramas usually doesn't follow closely to the original novel which i dont understand in the first place why they do that.... aint the purpose of novel adaption is because the novel has success and popularity? then why butcher it with their own stories and end up in a mess..... i dont get it....

so im very happy and excited when i found the drama is better than the original novel....

this is the 3rd novels adaptations which i prefer more on the drama than the original novel

1st is romance drama, Boss and Me
2nd is love and redemption
3rd is Under the Power

its rare for such to happen but glad the drama is getting better and better now.....

im now on chapter 76, Lu Yi indeed giving more and more hints after the two have spent a night together on Yan Shi Fan's boat lollll i can finally understand when u said it has more "romance" than the drama

im at the chapter where Jinxia and Lu Yi on the boat with Yan shi fan........ he already showed his care but its still very subtle.... LOL....

and also im surprised its already half way of the novel which ends at 143 chapters when that scene is actually around episode 15ish in the drama? its only 25% of the drama but already 50% of the novel.....

the drama indeed add much more story into it...... thats why i like it more.....

I think the drama make the characters more loveable and better in terms of the flow of the story. However the novel does indeed has more details.

Since i like the drama more, i decided to drop reading the novel lol.
