ahhhh im the opposite of you, i watched Lost romance for the first 3 episodes and dropped it lollllll then i watched General lady and finished it yesterday (finish in 3 days)

i love the FL in Lost Romance and love such stories but dont know why i couldnt continue it... something is lacking hmmmm....... couldnt figure what is lacking but the drama just not pulling enough magnets for me to continue...

im currently watching Ruyi pavillion..... up to 2 episodes so far i like it and planning to finish it....

i also find the FL annoying but i find her a comical relief so just brush her aside (towards the last 10 episodes, i start to fast forward and i just focus on the ML) he is super sweettttttttt

i wanna say that i agree with you.... for the first 1-3 episodes i was impressed by the FL coz she seemed smart and able to help the General (unlock + hawk invasion), however 4th to 10th episodes i was truly annoyed at how clueless and crazy her antics were becoming..... also feeling the second hand embarrassement for her too (when she joined her husband at his camp) and yet the couple able make me laugh..... so i was confused myself LOL.... whether to laugh or annoyed......

Finally at episode 10...... i finally accept the FL for her craziness and just enjoy the ride..... ever since then, i enjoy alot more and just view her as a comical relief in contrast to the seriousness of the ML lolllll

i hope you can enjoy as much as me.... i love this drama so much.... watched 10 episodes in just 1 day (with some fast forwading hahaah) and i might even rewatch it after it ends...

and 11th (the wedding)
is just truly beautifullllllllllllll and moving, make me melttttttttttt

Agreed with LuK.... i am surprised the novel isnt that good for me....
usually its the drama that doesnt live up to the hype of the original novel.... this one instead make it to muchhhhhh better like 10x better lol

other than this, the drama of Shan Shan lai le also do better than the novel though not as much as LaR =)

Omg same!! I have tried it 2x before. And always dropped it on 2nd or 3rd episodes. But i picked it up again after so many ppl mentioning it in this section hoping to cure my love sick from LnR lolllll this time i finished the series but u knew how i felt abt it lol.... Glad to find someone on the same page as me!

I hate it. I went to watch AOL coz many people compare it to LnR so i gave it a shot plus i love Yang Zi.... but that drama caused me great frustrations.... fast forward a lot just to finish it up.... luckily it has a good ending.... 5/10 aint bad... at least not 1 or 2.....

Maybe coz i watch it after LnR.... this Si Feng really set the Bar very very high LOL..... cant help always compare between the 2 phoenix..... lol

Anyways, dont be enraged.... lets not get involved too much emotions into the show...... (i have finally moved on after watching 3.5x of LnR)

I think there's a lot of changes! The drama has made those changes to a much higher level and much better.....
The changes are not the sequence of the story but... it changes alot of the flow (so much sweet scenes in the drama).... and characters too..... drama Xuan Ji, Si Feng as well as Liu Shi Xiong is much more lovable..... and many2 more other changes.....

its very rare for the drama to outdone the novel, usually novel is better.

Skipped royal nirvana tho i love the leads due to the bad reviews.... From what u mention, glad i didnt touch that one!! Its hard for me to watch when the guy harm the girl..... Which is why i really2 dislike AOL.... Not to mention they made love when the girl still have a fiance status urrghhhhhhh sorry keep bashing AOL... That drama successfully gave me so much anger lol... Good thing they have a good ending. And also maybe i watch LaR first then to AOL, i cant help but compare si feng to Xu feng and the disappointment is great =( make me dislike AOL even more lol

Regarding Ming Lan, u watch up to which episode? The starting is quite slow yes..... Coz the FL is just enduring and observing. She didnt do much. But once reaches certain episode, FL changes (more like she start to take action, no longer just observe) becomes more n more fierce which i love lol....
