the FL on the other hand though... The last straw was when she decides to help her ex when he was drunk. At least by then, their love was real and the marriage had some meaning. And the FL decides helping her drunk ex was the right move. A big NO. At that point, she was being extremely dishonest and disrespectful to her partner. Cdramas tend to keep that fine line where it's not really cheating but many of the things FL does in this drama are major red flags & needed to be called out. The FL behavior was toxic and ML was shown to be a too much of a wimp to stand up for himself.

When you see ML having a GF, you start to think that this might be a different kind of drama than the usual Kdramas, where the ML is usual CEO/overachiever who never loved any girl except the FL.
but as this drama progresses, you realized the ML is exactly like most kdrama ML's. he seems to have never loved any girl in his life. his girl friend pretty much is a fake. And this exact scenario is pretty much the same trope as most Kdramas.
While the FL would liked and loved other guys in her life, the ML even when he has a 'girl friend' would never have liked or loved any other girl than the FL.
The drama tries to be over-smart and cheats the viewers by faking who the ML is but it just tied itself in knots.
Instead of all these crappy smoke and mirrors, they should have followed the usual Kdrama trope of ML whose first and only love is FL, while the FL would be in love with other men and need ML to work hard to get her affection.
For now, they have been making the ML, FL and 2FL interrelation worse & worse! Okay, 2FL is revealed to be a baddie…

It's a bizarre show. They have been dating and engaged for a while but we don't even see them doing anything remotely BF-GF stuff. No wonder 2FL is looking somewhere else to satisfy her hunger. The boy is not putting out for her and don't even seem to be that interested in her. apart from the tag of 'dating' they might as well be siblings or something.

How do writers get away writing such awful females in dramas? Look at the men? the ML, 2ML, the Villian, the men on the police force, even the lady on the police force, they make sense.
The sisters on other hand look as if they are trying their best to die, due to stupidity.

Even in civilian set up, try using that language not on superiors but your subordinates and one ends up getting fired from the job.

This drama itself, the main 3 women we see all are sexually active, the FL, her bestie and her aunt. the only man who is shown to have bit of sexual feelings is the guy who is cheating on his cop wife. Every other guy in the drama has packed their balls and parceled them to purgatory.
ML continues to be nice to that horrible wench of an ex-wife of his.
She destroys his life, separates him from his daughter and has the gall to carry on as if what she did was a minor thing. Surprisingly, the ML continues to treat as if she has done nothing wrong.
