More often than not the FL will be in relationships and ex's and current crushes, where as the ML would be projected as 'young master who never looked at any girl'.
Problem is clearly with writers of these dramas who want to surround FL's with as many men as possible and the same writers would make the ML into buddhist monks who never looked at any girls until they fall in love with FL.
when these unrealistic ML and FL are shown in the same drama, it's obvious the FL comes across as a wimpy cheater. Blame the writers. On contrary, what do we know about ML and his ex? We don't even know what kind of relationship they had. Unlike numerous flashbacks of FL and her ex, we don't see a single flashback of ML and his ex.
The Cdrama template is same in each and every drama. the FL would have multiple men in her life in each and every episode. the ML would have no women in his life any episode except FL.
Once that template is established, the writers need to come up with FL and other men interacting, without making her seem like a bad person. This balance is important because they basically have ML who lives ike a monk.

What do we know about ML's relationship with his ex? Barely anything. in contrast, we know everything about FL and her ex.
FL is an abusive trash because that's how the drama portrays her. It's basically the writers fault. FL characterization does not make any sense. She basically avoided her ex for years and after the first time they meet after few years, the writers go out of their way to make FL and her ex have interactions. Most of those interactions makes no logical sense. The FL goes from actively avoiding to actively chasing her ex for having interactions.
From the unnatural denying her an office, which forces her to spend all the time in her ex's office...I guess there were no other rooms or people willing to share office with her, you see it has to be her ex. I doubt being lawyer, she is not aware of law or her rights. Forget HR which should have helped her in dealing with that awkward situation. Instead of trying to do find a solution, the writers immediately make her sleep on sofa of her ex and the ex crossing lines many many times. And the point to show here is that all these interactions between the FL and her ex are seen by ML. Cdramas needs ML to suffer seeing the woman they love with other men. They stick to this principle and the writers make FL actively participate in this debauchery. The opposite where FL gets to see ML and other woman very cozy will never happen.

The ML in Kdramas and Cdramas are always wonderful. In most dramas, the only girl they ever have in their life is the FL. And in many dramas, the only girl they ever talk to would be the FL. all other girls, the ML's treat them like dirt. So, Agree that most ML's are very dedicated to the FL while maintaining propriety and boundaries with every other women in the drama.

Couldn't really understand why the ML was kneeling at the end. If anyone was to kneel and crawl for forgiveness, it was the FL for her horrible choices towards ML and their child.
