It's just the characters that are sooo out there. Even the story line is fine if only they made the ML a bit more realistic.
If some one is going to sell a ML in a drama who is nearing 30 and is shown as never been attracted to any girl until he meets FL....that is just fake. And it can be cute in 1-2 dramas but if each and every romance Kdrama has the same type of ML, then, it gets too much to digest.

ML did not hurt FL. He was there for her during her trial. The whole point of the trial was suffering. She was destined to go through the pain to ascend and gain power. During that trial, the ML stayed with her and he himself suffered because of being with her.
In the end, she gained power, dumped him and their kid as if they were used toilet paper.
Couldn't really understand why the ML was kneeling at the end. If anyone was to kneel and crawl for forgiveness, it was the FL for her horrible choices towards ML and their child.

It is ok to lose cool now and then blow off for dramatic effect, but when the default mode of the FL is that of a banshee, then there is problem with writing.
