No, but it was a long time ago as I was watching Love Game in Eastern Fantasy to the end. I remember there was a big battle and a lot of people got killed but I don't remember why she would have blamed ZiJing for that?
After a long break I went back to watch ep 21 but I've totally missed what caused their breakup. Can someone help and tell what episode I need to watch to find out how she went from 'you're my man' to trying to scratch out a living for herself.
Just finished it. Can't decide how to rate it as I really enjoyed the drama until ep 23 and then I had to do a lot of fast forwarding to stick with it until the end. She should have just stayed in the imaginary world living together with demns looked like a lot more fun.
Just finished ep. 10 and the subtitles are badly confusing. The continuity and where people are located from one minute to the next is not clear. It's a superior looking production but the aforementioned problems spoil these attributes.
I'm up to ep 25 and one of the reviewers spoiled the ending for me. So I will not continue as I hate desperately sad endings where everyone is wiped out. What's worse is that Jing He has to suffer for his whole life when he was such a great character who already had to suffer at the beginning of the drama and was only made whole again through their love. Phew to the screenwriters.
Except for a few fast forwards I watched the whole thing. Pretty good characters, story and production. I did think the leads' relationship was just a little bit too 'incetuous' since never stopped calling him '3rd brother' even after they were long married. She is quite an accomplished actor but wether it was her voice or a dubbed voice, I found it just too babyish. ShenYuan had many aspects to his character but that was not always apparent from his placid expression. JianXue went totally off the rails for which even devotion was not a good enough excuse. The supporting cast was very enjoyable and talented, even those who were wicked.
Ep. 35 I know this isn't the most important thing in this drama, but I wish someone would put that poor goose out of it's misery for having to wear that cloth collar. It keeps trying to nibble it off with its beak. Third brother is playing evil, the prime minister is mangling his cricket to show the marquis he's not invulnerable. Yining keeps the faith.
Ep. 34 When are these young ladies ever going to catch on that when someone 'accidentally' dirties their clothes , they should not be lured into some room to get changed. Inevitably, someone is out to compromise their reputation. What will the outcome be here? She's already held off the Marquis several times.
Filial piety is the virtue of exhibiting love and respect for one's parents, elders, and ancestors, particularly…
Thanks for the history lesson. Considering how true to history most of the dramas are (not), I'm just surprised this adult son cowed by 'old madam' remains so prevalent.
Ep. 25 I'm getting quote perturbed with 'nicey, nicey' 3rd brother. He keeps holding out on FL that they are not related at all. I presume it's so he can keep fondling her whenever he wants. The marquis is an abuser, pretending it's in the 'name of love'. Chubby daughter is being railroaded into and unwanted marriage but maybe she'll manage to elope with 'uncle'. Whose goose is really cooked here?
Ep. 22 and the 'siblings' continue on their rightous path. I never fails to amust me at how often they say 'rest early' or 'you're back' or 'you've lost weight' or 'don't leave the mansion' or 'time to take your medicine' while blowing on a spoon and then shoveling it into someone's mouth. Who can blame Chang Lang from upchucking. Hilarious.
I've come up to ep 19 and it's been somewhat draggy. I've had to zipped through some of it. Like the aunt and her boring kids. Now that hubby is back after what must have been a decade and has brought in the new penniless lady from the North it might get more interesting. Third Brother has gone legit to be able to sit for the exams, but I thought he already knows he's not her brother, third or any kind. When is that all going to come out? I think the plump daughter is nice and funny and I love the guy who gets his appetite from watching her. Can't wait to find out who he is and hopefully he can outmaneuber her uncle with the goose who can be a bit creepy in his relationship to his niece, but otherwise seems a talented concoctionist. The most evil guy at this point is the marquis. How did he latch onto seventh lady when she was supposed to have been in the side yard all those years?
I think I'm getting behind with this drama. Lots happening in ep. 6. Uncle is worried his 'goose is going to get cooked' so instead he gets blotto. There's a new desirable male in the picture who quickly gets into playing hanky-panky with a beauty. Next out leads a furiously pursued and injured they plunge into the river (in these dramas all bodies of water are bottomless) but we don't see the required mouth-to-mouth trope, but they do end up in the desolate cave sharing a campfire and not much else at the moment.
"Let's drink until we drop" seems to be the ethos in most Cdramas and is often used to break down barriers between the sexes. Another trope is the gossiping of servants to do the bidding of their masters to damage chldren consistered outcasts.
Another drama that blames a little girl for causing a miscarriage. What's wrong with these people? Fathers can't manage to be impartial and wives and concubines get nasty from competing for favours. Many of their children learn these bad habits, but I guess that's what makes these dramas so fascinating.
Very stark intro with beautiful music. Again a drama that opens with a horrific scene of childhood trauma. FL has moved on to become an icy leader of healer women. ML takes on her challenge to save little Mo.
Just got to ep. 16 and Rue Wen is standing on a pile of dead bodies while he and Xin Wei are cheering and toasting going in to another place to kill more people. Wow, what a loving couple! This show wavers between boring and ridiculous.
