The fight at Seven Star Mansion was our of this world. Zhi and Yanxi are at odds but not totally estranged. She's ready to bring her cargo back to the restaurant and he's bringing a beautiful hostage back for the Emperor's pleasure. Will he ever get tired of being a tool?
Having two mothers can be good except when one is constantly crying and doing follish things. Zhi's moter is another one of those timid traditional shrinking violets. Good thing she was raised by her grandfather. Domestic violence isn't pretty so they better come up with a plan to get her auntie our of there. Zhi and Yanxi had a carefree moment to enjoy the carp lanters while he gave her a kiss on the forehead. What a waste of her luscious lips.
Tragedy strikes. Mdm Hua is hounded to death by her own daughter. Zhi and ShaoYao are joined in grief by the family and surprisingly the Empress Dowager. A very poignant moment when childhood friends part from one another. Mourning leaves broken hearts but I hope not broken spirits.
Episode 17 is full of Spawn of the Devil. Some women are just evil and use all kinds of excuses to justify their actions. They blame everyone else for the fallout when things go south. Luckily, grandma has got a sweet little innocent bringing her roasted chestnuts. Yanxi will have to seek solace elsewhere. Where do you suppose.
Half-way through and this story never flags. Grandma's letters are discovered and they are sentimental reminiscences of the past by two old friends. Yanxi is revealed as the dreaded security chief and will now have to face Zhi with his new identity. The Emperor will decide what he wants to do with the Hua family.
Still early in the drama and am enoying how we learn more and more about the main characters. Teachers can be young or old but they must be able to get their message across. Yanxi is the Emperor's go-to-guy and now that's could be a problem as he investigates the 'love' letters between two old women. Zhi is so busy she hardly has time to eat, but finds time to give her fellow a bowl of rice, a bracelet and a cookie. Such riches.
I'm on ep 8 now and loving it. Zhi is moving forward a record speed. Freeing all the maids and giving them employment in her sweet berry factory. The jars of wine are waiting for her wedding but paying dividends now. Let's raise a toast to that.
No but why are LGX’s ears so red in most of the more intense scenes??? Is that digitally altered?
I`ve seen that with other actors in other dramas and some have really red hands which could be because often they are cold on these sets because when they speak you can see their breath.
Fun and games with Ms Jin, hugs and kisses all around and a little gender fluidity to spice it all up. I always thought Ms Jin was bi anyways given all the antics with her and Shen Li earlier. Happy ending now that the god and Shen Li have brought about their biggest creation miracle so far.
Ep. 35 &36 are Abyssmal given all the action takes place there. Puppets, demons and MoFang`s handler are evil on steroids. The realms will not survive if the seal is broken. Only Shen Li can take on the master who made her father. Only MoFang can stop himself. What`s Xing Zhi going to do with his father-in-law.
Just started ep 30 and again with the evil attacks. Just where does the 'puppet master' MoFang devise all that energy from? and given he has all this energy, what does he need Shen Li's pearl for? The snake/dragon has the sexiest legs and is helping to get Shen Li hot and bothered. Then there's that belly rub and 'oh, my god' who can resist him?
LOL Fu Sheng was annoying to watch. The actor is good looking, but I had to fast forward most of his scenes.
Actors must think these evil roles are desirable as they are on screen a lot making an impact on the story. I find most of them are so disgusting that I can't watch the specific actor in any other role in another drama. It's like 'cutting off your nose to spite your face'. Pure evil is different from if the story gives a character a reason for their revenge.
Looking at Eunuch Lou's shadow beard he would be hard pressed to prove he doesn't have the balls. Looks like the Empress overreached and dragged that cute 6th Prince down with her. The Shen household is gutted by fire and and Lu Shi Yan gets beamed on his noggin. How will it all end?
Slowly making my way to the end. Blacky is looking for Lu Shi Yan but he doesn't know enough to keep his nose to the ground. The Empress is counting her chickens and everyone else has a lot on their plate - find the antidote, protect the Crown Prince, get the Eldest Princess out of jail and neutralize the 'refugee' assembling in town for the (in)auspicious event.
