Chen Xiao does romance/heartbreak so well. Despite the ridiculous subtitles I keep watching mostly for him although some of the other characters are quite good in their story arc. I would give this a much higher rating if it actually made sense.

Yeah, most of the time I don't know what they are talking about so I'm trying to not even look at those just the interactions between characters. Although just watched ep 11 where FL is talking to her boss about who knows what, but then she said 'rainbow fart' which cracked me up.

Live action is back. Lord Ding is on the move with his paramour. Jing Hong is tripping the light fantastic with Princess but how will he land?

What a turnaround in one episode. Stick a few needles in just the right place and PRESTO all those poisons go POOF you're cured.

Whoa, ep 28 was a slo-mo sad sack affair. Just enough breath left for one last flute song?

Just watched ep 27 where Princess reveals all. Looks like Jing Hong has made his choice. Zhuohua spends a little time at Lond Ding's bedside but not much else. Where there's will (or two) there's a way. People better smarten up soon or the hidden evil doers will cause havoc.

I've watched seven episodes so far, pretty much just for Chen Xiao presence. Find I like a few of the other characters as well but the subtitles are atrocious. None of the work situation dialogue makes much sense. The rent-out clothing scheme seems pretty airy fairy at this point. So what's left is the conflict between the 'old' lovers which has some poignancy but is getting pretty repetitive. What is their relationship going to move on to in the next very many more episodes?

I just watched up to ep 13 and find it slow and ponderous with drawn out plot. The general's story is barely acknowledged and the newly appeared Doctor's wife I can do without.

ZiYu has some redeeming qualities that can be seen as weakness. The sister is quite amusing. The poisonous, out-of-control little' brother' is really enamoured with the hard-assed Shang Yue.

This was exhilarating and heartbreaking. What an intense love story. Faults and misunderstandings on both sides made it terribly tense. Such devotion by both lovers and yet...they part.

Totally wrapped up in ep 4 but surprised these two brides get so much private time discussing their personal plotting. The new sword wielder is over emotional and at times kind to a fault yet he also is able to unravel the mystery and is not willing to give and inch to his two challengers.

Lot happening in three episodes. I guess it's inevitable with just 24 in total. Some of the Gongs have struck out by we know not who. The brides are still on their mission so wedding bells are bound to ring. The look and sound of this drama is breathtaking.

Heavy! and just the look to go with it. Mud Wuxia is better than a wet t-shirt contest. Been waiting for a new drama now that Lost You Forever is on hold.

I'm liking the two romances. The hair-raising ceremony was cute but the kiss was a bit too tame. The 'invalid' and his boisterous wife are making headway in putting doubt into gradman's faith in her favorite. The opera was instructive though a bit lame (watch Winter Begonia for a treat). The only storyline I can do without is the character of the Dr.'s newly re-discovered wife. She's an annoying presence.

That was epic! The princess was right when she told Shen Jing Hong she was 'heartless'. I wonder if she will use him next in her diabolical plans now that she fed the other one that dagger. Of course there is more to come. I hope Lord Ding and Zhuohua will stay safe.
