Do you know everyone has different preferences right? Just like I couldn’t get pass episode 1 of Legend of Anle…
You're right I over rated Legend of Anle because I really like her boisterous character in the first part of the drama, but found it got slow and boring later on.
How is this rated at 8.3? I couldn't even get past episode 2 and just hears a scathing review of someone who tried to give it a chance for fourteen episodes.
So sad, my two favs are heartbroken in ep 36 and are now 'strangers'. CX is comforting his 'sister' but who is she really? Xun Yue has gone off the rails and suddenly decides she no longer loves CX. That vixen Yin Ying is carrying someone else's bun in her oven. Will this be revealed?
While a bit repetative, I did enjoy the drama. Mostly, it was great to discover a very likable male lead (will be looking for his other work) and the supporting actors added a nice touch.
That was a long build up to a bust. I made my own ending. He went back into the hawthorne coffin and since he only needed another day in there to become human, he got out after 24 hours and got on with life at Shady Oaks.
ep 33 'Brother' can only clench his fist as he watches how XY shows her love for Jing. But now that grandma is spitting blood she can hold a knife to his throat and make him dance to her tune.
The last two episodes were something of a shell game with two of our main character is a coma - CX was on pins and needles, XL was nursing her back from death's door while poor Jing's wick was sputtering and heading for lights out. Action please.
HEAVY. Watching that sadistic torture was too much to take in after the fun & games she was having with Jing before that. He ran to the rescue but got himself burned to a crisp. CX is less than useless all he can do is play with puppets. XL comes flying in (I've been missing Chubby), takes her to his seashell clinic and gives her a personal transfusion. Let's all hope for the best.
That was one HOT kiss to say nothing of the knee smooch. Not even XL biting her neck had that much impact. Lots of pleasant time for them together for me to enjoy in the last two episodes.
I know I'm swimming against the tide here, but I dislike both CX and FFB/XL. CX pretends to be the loyal brother/cousin, whatever, when he really lusts after XY and undermines her relationship with Jing whenever he can. As for FFB/XL , he's a charmer alright but beside using her as his bloodbank, I don't trust his motives for seducing her.
I guess Fanfeng Bei's absence was too good to last. I really enjoyed the time she could spend with Jing. Despite getting all this help from Jing, Cang Xuan has enough hostile feelings for him to clutch a knife hard enough to make his palm bloody. Is he jealous?
Was my first time seeing GJ as well. I watched for Reba and LYN; but the script was like written by ppl who didn't…
Yes, I rated it trying not to be too critical but continued to be disappointed. A few highlights for me were the boisterous Anle personality at the start, the sublime dancing by Linglan, HanYe's stout heart and dedicated love. Major disappointments were a very likable Anning not seeing Lengbei's treachery sooner and the flat, pasty self Mingxi turned into.

Agreed. Really fell in love with LYF. After FL left her male doc persona, I felt it went downhill to some extent. Sticking with it though to see if things will pick up.
