Ok, after episode 21 I have to get some things off my chest. That Su Yi looks like death warmed over. Chen Shi is making progress and I like the way he shut down Qing's mother. I keep wondering if maybe it would be a good idea if she got pregnant from their drunken one-night stand. Yu Yao is a loveable character as Chen Xiao is in all his dramas. Jian En doesn't always have the best emotional intelligence or wardrobe, but she's trying. I really don't like Zhi Ye. For one things his shoes badly need polishing.

Just watched ep 17 and 18 and for some reason the subtitles are getting better on this site. It's almost making sense.

So I guess no happy ending for anyone. It will be hard to take but at least the drama is satifying in many other ways.

I figured as much but wished the drama would stop killing off so many of the good characters. Gets depressing.

Having a hard time watching that arrogant little git. The FL is endlessly resourseful and could turn out to be Sword wielder's strength. The matriach is another characters of many layers.

How creepy. pain and fever from fly larvae hatching . As cruel as their task is they can only be pitied. Sword wielder is getting the 'after work-out' treatment to prepare him for the challenge ahead. How will the mysterious guy with the silver temples affect the power balance here?

The shocks just keep coming. Everyone is fighting for survival. Shang Jue and his little butt kisser are threatening the matriarch. There are so few Gong women still around so I hope the outrageous sister can rattle their cage.

Chen Xiao does romance/heartbreak so well. Despite the ridiculous subtitles I keep watching mostly for him although some of the other characters are quite good in their story arc. I would give this a much higher rating if it actually made sense.

Yeah, most of the time I don't know what they are talking about so I'm trying to not even look at those just the interactions between characters. Although just watched ep 11 where FL is talking to her boss about who knows what, but then she said 'rainbow fart' which cracked me up.

Live action is back. Lord Ding is on the move with his paramour. Jing Hong is tripping the light fantastic with Princess but how will he land?

What a turnaround in one episode. Stick a few needles in just the right place and PRESTO all those poisons go POOF you're cured.

Just watched ep 27 where Princess reveals all. Looks like Jing Hong has made his choice. Zhuohua spends a little time at Lond Ding's bedside but not much else. Where there's will (or two) there's a way. People better smarten up soon or the hidden evil doers will cause havoc.

I've watched seven episodes so far, pretty much just for Chen Xiao presence. Find I like a few of the other characters as well but the subtitles are atrocious. None of the work situation dialogue makes much sense. The rent-out clothing scheme seems pretty airy fairy at this point. So what's left is the conflict between the 'old' lovers which has some poignancy but is getting pretty repetitive. What is their relationship going to move on to in the next very many more episodes?
