Hilarious, how can you get enough traction wearing chains on your ankles to run into a column, bang your forehead and die? It takes a while but everyone comes clean eventually. The Di family and soldiers are exonerated and Anle is no more. So where do we go from here?
Half-way through the banquet and it's already mouthwatering good. The Dowager is getting an upset stomach while the Crown Prince makes sure the dishes keep coming.
Who better to fall off a cliff with than Anle. Once they landed in the valley, it looked like a pleasant outing. Why go back? Now that he's sure who she is he figures to protect her from harm he still has to marry the fake despite what a creep she is.
Twenty-one episodes in and finally HanYe is sure about who Anle really is. Since there isn't going to be a wedding with the fake Ziyuan, how and when is she going to seek her revenge. Anning better come clean and smarten up about all these enemies in her camp. I find Mingxi devious and his manipulation of Anle sickening. However did he become the Minister of Justice from being the bodyguard of Di Ziyuan ten years ago?
With all the new competition for Crown Princess this is heating up. Everyone seems to be someone's pawn. The most interesting women are Anle and Anning and Han Ye is too trusting and needs to grow some.
Exciting episode with Dragon and Ice Clan and, of course, the liplock. On top of it all she finds out he is the Crown Prince she has been deperate to find.
Enjoyed the drama but found the arc villain took up too much oxygen especially in the last two episodes. His sob story did not resonate with me as plenty of people start of having a hard life and manage not to lose their moral compass. The main couple were very lovable but how Yuru managed to gestate and have that precocious little son within five years is a mystery to me but then she managed to pull so many things out of a hat throughout. Their friends were laudable characters but some of them ended up with sad and lonely lives.
General Qin put up a heroic fight. Jiusi and Yuru are heading for the capital to try and save the 'rebel'. Has the whole army really been annihilated? Lou Zi Shang should be drawn and quartered.
Any one else find Yuru and the courtasan/consort resemble one another? Only two episodes left and there is still so much to tie up in this drama. Will our heroic couple save the army in the south? Will the tin pot emperor survive his puppet master.
I need combat pay. Watching Anle flash her teeth at the Crown Prince for 4 episodes is no small feat. The drama is amusing even though there are serious undertones.
Keep your hair down, Crown Prince, it makes you more appealing. Now that I'm watching ep 2 I find the washed out costumes of the prince unflattering as well. I wish they would spice up his appearance a little.
Only on ep 14 and catching up with everyone. I rate each episode under 'Episode Guide' above and find there are really low scores for the upcoming ones. How come? That's probably why we're only seeing an 8.0 rating for the whole drama so far.
Only on ep 12 I don't get how Xue Lu gets away with cheating. wouldn't a Master be able to see through her subterfuge? Also, have trouble figuring out what the merman is doing there and where his story is going.
