I've totally forgotten what her revenge reason was to go to the palace, so when she was hinting about it I couldn't make heads or tails out of what she said.

That 'confession' Yinlou made to Duo was agonizing to watch. I could see him shrinking with every onslaught. I know she's trying to protect him but will she have any heart left after this?
I which the Emperor was still a befuddled lantern maker, instead of the creep he has become. I don't' know what will happen, but hope Rong An and him take each other out.

Hurry, hurry, hurry! I like him best in historical dramas.

Qiu Yuan played that queer little duck in Sword Snow Stride. I really like that drama, but she was mostly a cute but quiet sidekick. Here, it sounds like she's overdoing it.

Just watching the first episode and I so agree with you, but he's so cute and she's so so.

I thought quite a few of her outfits bordered on the ridiculous. Show some fashion sense FL, everybody else in the drama managed to look appropriately dressed.

After sticking with this drama for forty episodes, I've come to the conclusion that it was too much of an investment for so little pay-off.

Watching ep 9 and this is really ponderous. Lian is a sad excuse for an assassin. If you had to chose between Wu You, who definitely looks angelic, and the 'looking like he's on his last legs' Emperor would you hesitate for one moment?

I looked at the cast members and there are no women except an old empress in the first twenty or so listings.

I agree with most of the comments about this short drama. They did a lot with little time to do it. Surprised there is not more attention given to the, to me, unknow ML. He is definitely a hunk in the making with a penchant for romance and devotion and a kissing technique many well-known actors could learn from.

I really loved this drama's martial arts and the ML and his relationships. I hated the ending. Why did all the women either have to die or become a nun. Find the fact that he ends up letting his hair grow and taking care of Miao's family for what?, eight or ten years, really a drag.

She was a hard taskmaster with not a romantic bone in her stiff body.
