Four to go. I'm going to be so sorry when I get to the end. The heart-to-heart between Yun Xiang and Ming Yu made me cry. Waiting for big reveal at the Sect.
I just finished Ep 31. It was the most emotional episode for me. Some Youtuber who is amateur to criticize this…
I agree. Can't figure out why this drama attracts so much criticism. I find it a very uniqhe take on the hero for a change. The story is very involved but if you're patient it is rewarding. The supporting actors are all superb and some of the settings incredibly beautiful. I was thinking how sorry I will be to leave them all behind.
Just watching ep 29 finally Yu Xiang seems to be coming out of his drunken stupor. Mr. Mo is so cute when he's in a huff. Major intrigue with new characters in the mix.
I love those intimate piggyback rides. This is a fine, intricate drama with great characters. The OST gives it just the right intimate feeling. The only thing I find puzzling are the costume designs, not so much for the women but the men's voluminous, sackcloth look is really different. I want to mention what a great job the actor portraying MingYu is doing. I remember liking him from his role in The Sword and the Brocade.
I'm really appreciate this drama's different take on the hero as well as his sidekicks. One thing has been annoying me is the constant super tight shots of people's eyes.
With such a high rating, I'm surprised this little gem seem to go under the radar. Miss Chun was a delight, smart and loyal. The three male leads were handsome, but Lord Han turned out to be such a disappointment. For those of use who like mature guys, Miss Chun's dad was nice to look at and was also an upright character to boot.
I'm liking this but it's hard to wait between episodes. I don't know who is going to end up with whom but I think the actor that's playing Sergeant should get to be a male lead in a historical drama soon.
I'm loving it. While the girls are not believable boys at least it allows them to act out of traditional roles. Obstacles be damned, let's get these two together. Episodes are coming at a snail's pace.
