the second cp story is starting to annoy me.. I keep on skipping already... such a waste of screentime and its…
I'm skipping all their scenes now. All they ever talk about is grandpa, and most of their screentime is spent with him too. I couldn't care less about grandpa and his problems, and I have no idea why they thought this would be interesting to us viewers. Thankfully, the leads are amazing and have incredible chemistry, so they're carrying this drama.
I was interested in the second couple at first, but they really ruined their chemistry and storyline. They should’ve given them more screentime and interactions, but instead, they focused on unnecessary and boring grandpa scenes. Like, 99% of their interactions were about the grandpa, and I’m not sure what the writer was thinking when he wrote that. The grandpa takes up a lot of screentime for no reason, and now the second couple has suffered because of it.
I just love how they showed us so many of their couple moments—spending time together, holding hands, hugging, and kissing. Sometimes in these types of dramas, romance gets lost in the plot, but that didn't happen here.
I can't believe I just watched a xianxia where none of the leads sacrificed themselves in the end. I was confused when both of them survived and even got more than a five-minute happy ending lol!
I cried during episodes 7 and 8. WYF's life is so sad, and she's hurting so much. That sleepwalking scene was beautifully done and made me so emotional.
It's been a long time since I watched a modern C-drama and actually enjoyed it! I mean, it's still too early to say for sure, but I really liked the first six episodes. I love both main leads, especially the FL, and I'm so excited to see how their relationship will develop. The FL is such a sad soul—she really needs a hug. I can't wait for the ML to find out the truth! Also, I usually don't care about secondary couples (they tend to annoy me), but this time I actually enjoy their scenes and love seeing them together.
